Just how much does this improve Washington?

Their o-line? Do u know who their HC is? The guy pastes o-lines and running games together. Now he has a QB who he can threaten? Not sure why they went to a 3-4 because they had a very good defense but ok.

They are a legitimate issue in this division again. They have an extremely high pick too to get whatever impact player they need immediately. Thank God they went for every other rb other than LT and Westbrook. Then again Portis is a serious pain in the asss on the ground and out of the backfield catching balls.

Well if he can paste an Oline together and stop our front 7 than he is the best coach in the league.

I didn't say Reid did a good job. But that doesn't excuse McNabb playing terrible. He was missing guys all over the field and clearly couldn't handle the pressure of knowing it was probably a make or break game for him to stay in Philly.

No one's giving Reid "a pass", although I'm certainly not going to spend a lot of time complaining about another team's coach, but trying to excuse McNabb's awful play with the game plan is not entirely accurate IMO.

I'm not, you responded with it was McNabb and I agree it was also Reid. I'm not giving anyone a free pass. I do think McNabb is still a pretty good QB and I clearly think he is head and shoulders above Campbell and if the Skins can find a way to give McNabb some protection he will make the skins a better team not saying a SB team but a more competitive team than they have been. He still put up 22 TD and 10 ints with a QB rating of 92.9 so anyone who thinks McNabb is done I think is under estimating his ability.

As soon as this past season was done I did figure Philly would let McNabb go but not because they felt he was done but because with Kolb sitting in the wings and McNabb in the last year of his contract if they were going to get something for him now was the time to do it.

...McNabb is a serious improvement over Campbell.

Not only by experience, but also we all know the troubles Campbell was having in Washington with his and the team's confidence.

Just removing Campbell from the starting line up will do wonders for that locker room alone.

I don't think anyone can say exactly how many wins they will have, but I'm sure there is a load of guys in the weight room of the Commanders who are really happy.

How does it feels to have to root for Donovan?

:laugh2:

After all the bad t hings I have said about him over the years (as a player going back to Syracuse) bleh, no clue.

In 1998 he stole a Big East title and BCS berth from Virginia Tech with a last second TD pass. So I have hated him for a very long time.

I'll just have to remember that I cheer for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back :)

They improve on offense. They need to still fix the oline and I think they know that. I still do believe they will have issues on defense specifically in the secondary. They must improve on that if they want to get better. Their defense won them a couple games last year. It can lose them a couple games this year. Hall is their best secondary player and he is ok at best.

He's better than Jason Campbell but then again so am I.
