He was at the Pei Wei in Las Colinas by my apartment. After he was done eating, I just said hi to him and just started talking a little Cowboys. I think he was a little surprised I knew who he was because nobody else seemed too. I just asked him if he was moving to safety (even though I kind knew the answer) and told him alot people didnt know that he had a bum knee last year. He just said he wasn't because they brought Hamlin in so he was going to stay at corner. After that, I just wished him luck and he thanked me and left.

It is weird how much he looks like Ladainian Tomlinson. Pretty cool guy, hope he can get back to the 2005, pre-shoulder injury form.

Me, too, Mike... I really wish we could stay set at corner for a couple more years, anyway. If we get more pass rush, these guys will be fine.

Groin injury was in 2005. Had a bum knee in 2006.

Cool meeting him Mick. Should've told him about the Zone. :)

BTW, I love Pei Wei. That's on my food radar now.

Hope he plays at 100% next season.

He really complimented Newman well before the groin injury.

I won't cry if we go CB at 22. Henry and Glenn are getting up there.

Thankfor sharing!! Always cool to hear these little stories. Also glad to hear he will be our CB. When he's healthy, he's very good.

You wont find Henry on any NFL injury reports in 2006.

That's because he was not seriously injured.

He's just a big, slow corner who can't cover.

What's sad is you think just because a person doesn't show up on the injury report that a player isn't injured. Aaron Glenn had knee surgery after the season ended, but you won't find him on an injury report. JJT reported that Roy was playing with tendinitis and you won't find him on an injury report. By the end of the season, very few players are playing without bumps and bruises.

But just for clarification purposes...

Henry ailing: Parcells said cornerback Anthony Henry has been playing with a sore knee, which might explain why he had problems covering receivers deep in Atlanta.

"It's nothing structural," Parcells said. "It's a bursa sac problem. I'm a little concerned about that, but he looked better this week."

Henry seems to be snake bitten by injuries..NOT good! I hope he can stay healthy..

It may seem like that, but I dont think he is injury prone. The lowest number of games he has played in a season is 12, with a few 16s, 15s and a 14 thrown in for good measure. I dont think he is any more injury prone than the average NFL player.

I think he's pretty durable too. Games played is a good measure.

By the way, JustSayNo, I love the guy in your avatar. Julio Franco is the eighth wonder of the world.

I hate the Mets, but them having Julio is enough for me to watch them. I grew up in Dallas when he was awesome for the Rangers, I moved to Chicago around the time he got traded to them and have been a fan ever since. He has said he wants to play until he is 50, I honestly think he can do it.

To change the topic, when I was younger I would write to my favorite athletes in hope of getting an autograph, and believe it or not I am actually thinking about writing Julio to try to get his autograph for my collection.

I have most of my favorite athletes with Emmitt( in person),and Modano and Brett Hull (through the mail) signing 8x10's to me. Anyone think writing to Julio will be successful?

It's hard to say whether or not a player will respond or even take the time to open his mail, but it's worth a try. It worked for you with Modano and Hull, so you never know. By all accounts, Julio Franco is a great guy, so that increases your odds right there.
