99% of the player's in the league were banged up during the season. That's not an excuse for the fact Henry just isn't very fast. He's a decent/good, physical corner who fit the mold Parcells wanted, BUT, the INT in the Eagles game showed everyone how slow he is for a corner. He looked like a LBer running with the ball.

I assume you're talking about his interception vs Detroit. Yeah, that's what clearly showed he was hurt really bad. Look at his INT return for a touchdown vs Arizona 2 seasons ago and you'll see how he really should be running. http://www.bnbathletics.com/cowboysvids/az05-anthonyhenry-int.avi hope they don't mind me linking to it here.

I'm talking about the Christmas Philly game. Henry is a decent/good player but he's not fast for a cornerback. That's all I said. We need a lot more team speed on both sides of the ball.

If we had TNew and got someone like say.. Chris Houston.. we'd have 2 little speedsters at corner. Do you really trust either of them to guard someone like Plaxico in the red zone on a jumpball or fade? I'm sure it'd be servicable.. but definitely not a favorable matchup.

To change the topic, when I was younger I would write to my favorite athletes in hope of getting an autograph, and believe it or not I am actually thinking about writing Julio to try to get his autograph for my collection.

I have most of my favorite athletes with Emmitt( in person),and Modano and Brett Hull (through the mail) signing 8x10's to me. Anyone think writing to Julio will be successful?

I do, since you'll probably be the only one mailing him an autograph request :laugh2: j/k, I like the guy, he was good for the Braves for a little bit

Henry is paid more money than Newman.

Henry completed his rookie contract. Newman has not.

I'm interested what you would do if YOU ran into Henry. Would you show him a video where he got burned?

Do you just like being wrong?

Newman has earned more money than Henry throughout his tenure here.

Newman - 33m contract w/13m SB
Henry - 25m contract w/11m SB

Now Henry may have a slightly higher cap number due to the makeup of his contract, but no matter how you slice it, Newman has made more money than him.

That said, what does "Henry being paid more than Newman" have to do with the guy wanting more speed at the CB position? Henry is not a burner. Never has been. His bread and butter is his ability to be physical. They get behind him and it's over.

What does that have to do with it?

Newman is a much better player than Henry.

Henry also makes more money than Newman.

I wonder how that goes over at the Ranch.

You're kidding right? You honestly aren't aware that Free Agent Contracts are usually more lucrative than rookie contracts, even for a 1st round pick?

Newman will earn far more money in his career than Henry will. Book it.

Hos, Newman as a Top 5 pick has already made more money in his career than Henry.

I just read your post after I submitted mine. Even if he hadn't when their careers are done it will be a wide gap between them. Newman's next contract will be huge. Anyone who doesn't realize this needs to wake up from the nap.

Ha!

Facts are like kryptonite to some people. It's a great weapon to have at times. :p:
