Agree. But we need to stick it out. He was not focused. That’s both player and HC. JG is supposed to have these guys ready but at the end of the day Elliot made the mistakes. Those 3 mistakes you mentioned cost us points. The dropped pass looked like he had a step and could have been a big play.

The other 2 plays you mentioned WERE POINTS. 7 from the step out of bounds. The fumble cost us at least 3. But could have been 7. That’s 14 points. How many points did we lose by?

JG and Linehan is so hard headed and set in making him a pocket QB in 1 or 1 1/2 seasons that they will lose games. Or get him killed.

Elliot had over a 120 yards on less than 20 carries. I do however understand that he had a fumble and a out of bounds play that cost is 7. Did they back off to punish him? I don’t think JG punishes players that aren’t named whitehead. Lol. I am just seeing them working to hard on the pass game instead of ground and pound.

You will be balanced.... You get the lead with ball control and passing. Once you have the lead and the opposing defense is gassed and cannot stop it; you ball control to close out the game.

Garrett knows how to do this. He just like the current Cowboys to pass a lot (which is not a team strength currently).

I agree. At beginning of season I thought this offense would look somewhat like a Carolina ground and pound offense but that faded quick. As I realized that this team cannot take advantage of plays that defenses are trying to give them. How can we take advantage of the ones they aren’t. As in we don’t make plays as a offense on A3rd downs

And we are getting stuck with longer 3rd downs. Run a predictable run play. And go straight to the pass

Now if the Cowboys had a WR the defense could not stop (or would not double cover) in a game... I will keep going to that receiver... similar to what Megatron did to Dallas with over 300 yards receiving.

Absolutely. But we don’t have it. And maybe not the QB to throw to him. Dak hates throwing one up and trusting the WR to come down with it.
