Major difference. He would throw to ANYONE if they were open back then, now he forces garbage to a certain #81 about 6-7 times per game.

Jerry Rice was a GREAT player... he was also a guy who went off on many sideline tantrums, like a Terrell Owens. When Rice did it, the media said he was being a fiery leader. When T.O. does it, he's being a "cancer". Oh, and Rice was caught in a seedy, illegal "massage parlor" (think Rush Hour 2)while his wife was ill.

Marvin Harrison has had a tremendous career... so tremendous in fact, that we don't hear about the allegations that he SHOT SOMEONE, nor do we hear about the fact that he CHOKED A 15 YEAR OLD at the Pro Bowl... because the kid had the nerve to bug Marvin for an autograph.

Now think about the "trouble" T.O. has gotten into off the field... of which there is none. Should put in perspective the way the media handles SOME events pertaining to a certain player (like wearing biking gear while riding a treadmill in training camp) and the way they largely ignore other events.

T.O. is no longer in his prime. for his age he is in great shape, but so is that 80 year old guy on t.v selling juicers, Jack Lalane.

next season Owens will not get better than he was this season, but without changes Romo will get worse.

perfect example is what happened to Eli once the giants got rid of whiners, complainers, and attention seekers (who were very good/great players) like tiki (retired) and shockey (traded). run the ball more, spread the ball around, win the SB.
