Just Watched Romo's First Start..

Sorry if I aspire for more than just a winning record.

Sorry... I just don't think someone who throws 36 touchdowns in his first full season is going to suddenly drop off because of "choking".

The whole team, and mainly the coaching staff, "choked". Simple as that. Its not really fair to try to pin this whole debacle on one person.

When we played Carolina.

Major difference. He would throw to ANYONE if they were open back then, now he forces garbage to a certain #81 about 6-7 times per game.

Gotta cut Owens, I really think it has ruined Romo.
I've seen Romo also force passes to a certain #82 as well. The problem isn't either of them. The problem is FORCING PASSES in general.

Great idea. lol. And lets cut Witten too for drawing up plays. Hell lets cut Barber just because.

Tomorrow's headlines

Terrell Owens was the guy in the Texas Book Depository, not Lee Harvey Oswald

Terrell Owens caused the Tsunami in 2004 by opening his piehole

Terrell Owens is the cause of world hunger

I know for a fact that TO faked the moon landing.

This may be hard for you to believe, but there is a HISTORY
with TO, that occurred BEFORE he got to the Cowboys.
In SF, he came to blows with a teammate, the name escapes me,
a WR from UCLA.
In Philly, he came to blows with Hugh Douglas.....remember?
Whether he fought with Witten or not, is beside the point.
Again, the symptoms, reactions, rumors, accusations, et al-
remain the same. It's like clockwork!!!
The common denominator is Team Obliteraor.

It's called HISTORY- & those who forget it, are doomed to repeat it!

WAKE UP, SHEESH!!!!!:banghead:

FWIW, I probably would have fought the "Team Bad-***-ador" if I were TO considering the crap Douglas pulled without even being part of the team anymore...

I would be pissed off too... playing on a team picked to win a Super Bowl and not sniff the playoffs!

when you watch all of Romos great games... watch Owens, too!

Well that's what comes with being a QB. You take the blame. A REAL QB steps up and carries the team. Romo is just not a leader out there.

I think the jury is still out on Romo. What you have to remember when Romo first started, no one had films to study and counter what he was doing. The offense seemed to be unstoppable, until people got enough footage and the Boys offense didn't adapt enough.
Romo really has little time to throw the ball. Early this year the line was blocking pretty good and we won all three of those games. Even with the defense not yet finding its way, we outscored the opponents.
I'm not sure wether T.O. needs to go or not. Im not a big fan of his, but being a former football player, I understand his value and what he brings as a nightmare for defensive coaches all around the NFL.
But, Im also a big fan of homegrown talent, I.E. Crayton, Witten, Austin, Herd, Stanback to rally around THEIR QB and give him the confidence he needs to instinctually do what he does best. Of course, he needs a little help from the O-Line as well.
