The defense (2.22 points allowed per drive) wasn't as good as 2014 (1.89) or 2015 (1.99). Needed to hold them to a FG on one of those red zone possessions.

The good news is that if the defense had played up to its form of the last two seasons, Dak was good enough to win, even with two dropped TD.

Quoting season averages against one game? A game we played with only one of our top five DE's?

But their DL beat our OL also. That's what makes the future look a bit unsure. They pass protected well, but the run game was stymied.

I think that is an important distinction, the Giants D stopped our running game but they also never touched Prescott (zero sacks and 3 QB hits all game). I think Dak will be special in time, but its not surprising that the team had problems executing with a true rookie at QB when facing a good defense.

So it's better not to even give him a shot.....yea that makes sense cause without the chance of kicking it we can say no way he would make it.

Saints tried it today with a rookie kicker and almost made it. Bailey is cool and calm in the clutch and I have more faith he makes it then not. Give him the chance, the worst that can happen is what happen
If it comes down to Bailey making a 58 yard FG to win each game, I'll bet on a winning season. He is the best player at his position.

Williams should have stepped out of bounds, no doubt, but we didn't lose the game on that play. The defense didn't lose this game either. We lost the game because we kicked FGs instead of putting the ball in the end zone and scored a total of three points on our final five drives.

I need to look at the all-22, but it sured seemed to me that Zeke was getting hit in the backfield every time he touched the ball.

The way to beat NY is to pressure Manning. That happened a total of something like five times, and Manning threw a pick on one of those plays. Ah well.

agreed - on our 2nd FG my initial thought was "this is going to cost us".

I am curious............ at what point will it sink in that the Cowboys really have average defensive ends?

Liking this thread, especially for the 'kaiser roll' in the title.

More importantly the question is why did Anthony Keidis want to " Keep it like the Kaiser"?

Perhaps its because "Bismarck had sponsored landmark social security legislation, by 1889–90 he had become disillusioned with the attitude of workers. In particular, he was opposed to wage increases, improving working conditions, and regulating labor relations and Twill should have gotten out of bounds and stopped the clock"

That's a great reference, I'm going to steal that. I actually took the name Kaiser here because I use Kaiser Soze on a Rangers board (because Keyzer Soze was taken)>
