So Deck Chairs don't matter until they matter.
Got it.
If your coach can't win a frickin game - or even be in one - without one player, the fact is that the guy sucks.

That sounds like a wager.

Name your terms. I'll be happy to bet against 9-7 all day long. You just let me know.
We aren't the worst team in the league, that is my point. Sean Lee is back next week and Zeke is back in three weeks.
We don't suck this year and will be a playoff-caliber team when our key guys get back. Last year we were the same type of team but had a softer schedule and caught some breaks to end up 13 - 3 instead of something like 10-6. Even with all the problem we have, the team is still 5-6 and still finishes 8-8 or 9-7. That isn't suckage, its underperforming with a big dose of Goodell/Zeke thrown in.
Jimmy Johnson was 1-15 when Emmitt Smith was out. Does Jimmy suck?

RIGHT NOW, as of the moment I'm typing this post, we are literally the worst team in the league. And I want you to acknowledge my post history before you claim that I'm some negative nancy.
I'm am pretty much always "half glass full".
But-
We suck balls.
We are getting blown out weekly.
Our offense is anemic and our defense is nonexistent.
We ARE EMBARRASSING.

The way we were blown out the last 3 games I get the feeling that we may have lost those games even with Zeke and Lee in there. I know you are probably rolling your eyes, but they were such decisive blowouts that I don't know if having either one of them would have kept us from losing.
The bet is that they go winless, which is what you posted. Unless you want to backtrack and edit that out.
The wager is a charity donation, you can name the cause.
I'm not rolling my eyes, I don't really disagree. But IMO the last three games are 2-1 or 1-2 if we have Zeke and Lee, they aren't these atrocious blowjob that rip your soul from your body.
IMO its all about salary cap parity ball, where every team is on the razors edge between 7-9 and 9-7. The margin is very, very slim.
Oh totally agree with you about the inconsistency and must have yelled several times asking where is the hold on our players. It just doesn't appear that they are calling it fair both ways.Agree. He was, for sure. But you could have called the Chargers on the same type of hold on 80% of their plays and they didn't do it. The inconsistency is my point.
And we could tell the team was headed in a positive direction in year 2. With Garrett it's a roller coaster that never ends.Obviously not.
He actually accomplished something.
And he did it in about four years. Garrett's had seven years and done nothing.
How else would you like to look bad? You're off to a great start already with this thread.
Agree. I think the ones on Witten and Lawrence were absolutely a travesty. I think the refs swallowed their whistle. I can see it happening maybe once but there were some calls that did not get called that I just kept shaking my head.Even then Ingram had his arm wrapped around Tyron’s back. So,was he holding him. The 2 throw downs. Witten and Lawrence were atrocious. I for one want to see the coaches be able to challenge something like, that
A better chance they go winless the rest of the way.
