this should be electric!!!!!!!!!!!

go kansas!!

I have nothing against KU, but it's hard to root for them as they look like the NYFG...

Go Mizzou...

I just want to watch Talib play. Don't care who wins.

Mark Mangino looks like he could drop dead of a heart attack at any second...

It's very distracting...

looks like the Giants and Steelers :laugh2:

I live in Missouri, and I gotta say that this is a big deal. The last few years have been strange. Normally, Mizzou football stinks. But the past several years have actually been pretty good.

That being said, I still think it stinks that there isn't a playoff in college football. A commentator yesterday mentioned that this year is evidence that a playoff is not needed, and this year is a perfect example why.....the playoff is the season.

Not true....

As much as I love seeing Mizzou and Kansas ranked high, you can't tell me that either one is a better team than USC or LSU. Both USC and LSU have played a higher level of competition. Kansas especially has had an easy schedule.

A playoff is needed.

damn..........that was a hit!!!

It was.

In some ways I like the college game so much better. In the NFL, that would've been a penalty.

It's funny how college football is tougher in some ways than the NFL.

I agree... he is a very good coach...

He could coach for better programs but I think his size is a factor in regards to his health...

I agree a playoff is needed, but I also think Mizzou is a top flight team...

Kansas is very good too, but I think Mizzou is a top tier team and may very well play for the national championship...

Missouri is a very good team no doubt.

But they have some major chinks.

Offensively, there aren't many better.

Defense is a work in progress though. In the first half they tend to jump on teams, but in the second half they give up points. It happened vs Illinois, Mississippi, OU, ISU, A&M. All these teams were able to get back into games vs Missouri.

They give up a lot of yardage. I don't think they could stop many of the upper level teams: LSU, WVU, OU, USC, FL.

this is awful football...sorry, but watching two teams that look like rejects from the cfl play is just not entertaining football

they should move all teams that play these ridiculous spread option offenses into a divison of their own...its terrible football

and while I am venting, its way past time for college football to junk this awful overtime system they have

I agree to a point, but those other teams have issues as well...

Les Miles is a horrible play caller at LSU. WVU can beat Jesus State one week then lose to Texas School for the Blind the next week. OU can lose at any time. USC is also inconsistent. Florida is as well...

All in all this is the best season ever in regards to a playoff being needed...

Agreed. That dude needs to show some self discipline and lose A LOT of pounds. Set an example to his players.

Agreed. I saw that show you were talking about. That guy is a moron (who said the season itself is a playoffs).
