I brought that up in the OP. I dont think he makes it out of camp. He couldnt even crack the roster on KC and they couldnt run. What does that tell you?
Sorry, I skimmed past that.

I wouldn't count Jones out. He played some pretty good football in Tampa. Still, it admittedly might be hard to keep 4 RB's, so someone will probably have to go.

I’m getting an Alfred Morris vibe this year . Then overcompensate and use a high draft pick
I was actually thinking the same thing, except w/ McF and Underpanties thief.

I don't see a starting quality RB on the roster. And I love Polly.

Word out of Cleveland is that Hunt lost his speed. That's why he wasn't offered a contract.

Kareem Hunt isn’t signed because he wants to be paid. Facts.

Dallas only pays vet minimum to these guys. Hunt has no interest

Morning y'all. Happy Tuesday.

Would you be willing to bring Hunt in for a visit? The RB room is looking mighty thin, and if something happens to Pollard we would have Vaughan and Davis. I dont see Jones making the 53. Guy couldnt even crack the roster in KC. If you cant beat out CEH. I am worried.
How does it get thin just because there's an idea for a possible player?? There's a bevy of options on this team to run the ball just added another one Sunday

Jones is a decent RB who got caught in a numbers game, and the unlikely emergence of Pachecko. He was signed most likely because Edwards/Helaire can't stay on the field, and maybe because he tore them up in the super bowl against them. Jones is a decent RB, but the type that if he's your starter, you're always looking to improve.

The Jones signing never made sense to me as he's the same type RB as Polly, and Polly is much better. All that being said, Jones is an explosive type RB. Maybe he and Polly and Lupedecke can form a good combo.

I presume The Hunt’s and Zeke’s of the world will be signed right around TC for some team.

They will wait to see what the RB's do in the OTA's and mini camps. Also need to see where Pollard is on his rehab. We have heard nothing. But he should be close to do some light jogging I would think.

Don't expect anything about Hunt or Zeke until late June or July. Maybe even after the get all the draft picks signed. See what the cap room is, after June 1st when the get the credit from Zeke's contract.

As stated above, the word out of Cleveland is that Hunt has lost a lot of speed.

If Pollard gets hurt. And we stay as we are. We are VERY thin.

Kareem Hunt had a 3.8 YPC average last year.

Zeke was 4.4
Context. Not enough touches to judge. Kareem also played w/ an undisclosed injury last season.

Hunt never even had double digit rushing attempts in the last 9 games. The only game after during those 9 games that he had more than 7 carries he was 9/56/6.2YPC.

Unless Hunt has degraded sharply due to age/injuries, he's a top 10 RB.

Did you say Jones is explosive? Have you watched him? At all?

He's not close to Top 10. Top 10 RB don't get stuck behind someone else.

He's behind Pollard, so not sure how many snap you think he's get here.
