Yes, but that team wasn't in the top 3 worst teams in the NFL. Plus they were much more talented than KC is. They just needed a legit coach. KC has *some* talent but nothing like SF had.

Which team had more Pro Bowlers?

One of my friends is a huge 9ers fan, so I've followed them for awhile. Nobody saw them having the turn around they did.

Like I said (at least I think) I'm not saying the Chiefs will have that huge of a turn around, but I am fairly certain they will be much better than last year.

Chiefs do have a good front 7, but they were allowed a lot of "cheats" against the Jaguars. Even under the best of circumstances the Jags are a horrendous passing team, but in this game they were also missing their best intermediate receiver in Mercedes Lewis and their best run after the catch WR in Justin Blackmon to take advantage of an over aggressive unit on the 2nd level. The Chiefs routinely stuffed 8 or 9 in the box on every base down and send 6 pass rushers on sub packages with absolutely no fear of retribution.

A lot of people had the 49ers winning their division in Singletary's last year, but they fell flat on their faces to start the year.

Romo said this:
"This is going to be a very difficult defense to go against in the environment that we're going to be in," Romo said, per ESPN. "I think this might ... of our opening five, six games, this could be the toughest, with the environment and the problems they do defensively and their scheme. This will be a very difficult game to go in and execute at a high level. We're trying to do things to make sure we give ourselves the best chance to be able to do that."

I would say they can beat us but I'm sure not expecting them to beat us. This reminds me of Arizona in 2011. We were the better team but they made it their super bowl and we played bad. KC is a little better than that Arizona team was but we are better than KC.

I agree that we should beat KC. We have a much better team.

The Cowboys biggest problem is between their ears. The confidence has been taken out of the entire organization and fan base.

We're all just kind of sitting around and waiting for something bad to happen because it always does.

I think they will be much better too.. but much better than 2-14 isn't hard to do right? Sure, they may get to 8-8 which is much better but lets not kid ourselves.. they aren't that great.

Much better team is the part that gets me. Better? maybe. "Much better"...and in KC? I don't agree.
Look at their roster, postion by position and then see if you feel the same way.

Last year was a disaster for them wit the QB and coaching situations. And the the murder/suicide in the tema parking lot. Then a bunch of other stuff. It just spiraled out of control.
But that did allow them to get another bookend Tackle at the top of the draft, plus they added some other nice additions.

Dallas may be better, but much better is thr part I doubt.
Dallas certainly has the better QB, but he's pretty banged up.

I can't deny that to be honest but for some strange reason I'm cautiously optimistic about this KC game. I really do think we are taking them seriously and I think everyone is really over rating the Chiefs because they got a new coach and QB and beat up on Jacksonville week 1. If our offense would start showing up in the redzone and do what we all know they are capable of, then we will beat KC. I'm confident our defense can handle KC.

Anyone want to bet on KC this week against me? I won't even take the 3 points the odds makers are giving KC. Just straight up. Loser pays via paypal.

Surely no Cowboy fan is going to bet for their own team to lose ... Though it wouldn't surprise me.

Why don't you go down their roster, position by postion, and see what you think.

BTW, I have not said that they were better than Dallas. Nor have I said KC would win.

Anyway, WR is one of their weak links, but Bowe, Avery, McCluster, and Jenkins are not horrible.
Look at their lines of other postions. They have very few holes.

We're not playing Seattle in their house. While KC will be tough, this Dallas team can more than meet the challenge. I liken it to the game we played @ Cincy last year. Tough but not overwhelming.

24-20 Cowboys. Murray 100+ yards and a TD. Dez and Miles both score as well.

Avery, a 4.2 speed guy and McCluster. A catch and run guy, very dangerous on 3rd down. He's a guy that can be lined up in the backfield and then motioned out into the slot or outside WR. Fasano is their TE and they drafted Kelcy, who was the best TE prospect in last years draft. He might have a bit of a screw loose but he has some serious talent. Throw in Charles who is a much more effective version of McCluster and they have some dangerous receivers.

Nope. I've been following KC since 2011. I thought that they were going to be a power in the AFC. I wanted to try and trade Romo to them for picks/players. Albert was the one FA I wanted most in Free Agency. I have a close friend who is a KC fan so he's been counting the days for this game. If we get beat in this game, I am going to have some serious financial issues over it.
