Everson Walls wasn't fast but he was a thief.

I never thought he would do well in the NFL. He had superior instincts and seemed to have a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Wasn't really as physically gifted as others but Hostile is right he was a thief and if I remember correctly he had 12 ints in one year.

yeah, uneducated, Jerrah and company knew EXACTLY what they had in Reeves. ALL he has is speed. No game instincts. That is why he never makes many plays- even playing off he should have made a LOT more plays.
He is just like Randall Williams= speed but that is all.

Whenever Reeves was on the field in an obvious passing situation... I always got the same feeling of dread that I used to get when QC dropped back to pass....

What does that tell you?

It tells you he sucks. They attempt to justify him being an average player, by the "but" - any time you have to say "but" to defend a player.. it's usually not good. If you're ONLY average after your THREE worse plays of the season - you sure as hell aren't good.

You just have to question some of the personnel decisions that have been made...since Bill left.

Anytime you lose a player like Reeves [25 yrs old, 4.3/4 speed] and sign an old player like Zack [who's done] then something is wrong.

Instead of drafting to replace Henry in 2009, we are gonna have to draft to replace Reeves in 2008.

We needed to draft a corner in 2007.
