I think its a combination of Stockholm syndrome here and the fact we haven't been relevant in 27 years as far as SB appearances. SO what we have is 0 happy medium. We have basically a bipolar situation with fans. One end of the spectrum or the other. That will greatly improve if we win a SB. Its the Jerry and Stevie Jones effect.
We’ve been relevant but we haven’t been good. Which is almost more frustrating than just being mediocre. Being relevant and average is frustrating because the media talks about you all the time, good or bad. Sometimes I wish we weren’t talked about so much.

And the majority of Zone posters were raised without it and can’t understand it.
Actually this is a really good point. I grew up without social media and it was a better life. The internet became a thing when I was in high school and it was not that prevalent in society. The 4-5 years between finishing high school and graduating college the internet really took off. With that advent of social media starting in 2000s and really gaining steam with Facebook and others really changed things. The first half of my life was pre internet/social media and the 2nd half of my life has been in the social media world. The first half of my life was way better than the 2nd half. Not even close. I wish I could shut down social media for 6 months. I’d bet everything that after that 6 months no one would go back. I quit all social media in 2019, so no Facebook, IG, SC, etc. My ptsd and anxiety had massive improvements.

So anyway enough about me. I really miss the time when Football was only on Sunday and Monday. Then throughout the week you forgot about it till the next game. It was easier to keep losses in perspective and with wins you didn’t have media outlets 24/7 breaking it down trying to devalue it. Football, and everything else, was simpler and more fun. I miss those days.

Again. SHOULD THEY BOYCOTT MEDIA THIS WEEK. yes or no.
No they shouldn’t boycott the media. The fans that don’t like it should boycott. Each click makes money, when money can be made then media wants more access to the players, the players get tired of it (Ala Marshawn Lynch) so teams make it mandatory for players to talk to the media. If fans don’t like it then don’t click on the sites and stop the money train. Me personally, this is the only site I go to during the week cuz I am making an effort to not feed the cycle because I think the media is ruining the game. But if I click on it then I’m participating and I’m part of the problem.

To his credit he also said this: “For the first (time) since I’ve been here,” safety Jayron Kearse said, “I feel like I was part of the problem, and not a problem-solver.”
Well he gets points for self-awareness. He was miserable in the Arizona game- maybe the worst defender on the field.

He'd been excellent otherwise, but last Sunday was eye-poppingly terrible.

Correction we have not won anything of worth in 27 years, they remain top seed in relevence which could actually be the problem.

When players have 27 media outlets surrounding the building like a hostage crisis how’s a 29 yr old guy making millions upon millions supposed to “ shut up “ ? I like the talk makes things interesting .

It’s bizarre to think they go in and out of the Frisco Taj Mahal and say to Jane Slater , not “ today no comment “ I’m going to be bashful and silent .

After the last weeks embarrassing performance against Joshua Dobbs and the Cardinals running game our players shouldn’t be having any strong words about anyones offense. Just shut up and play!

Boycotting the media is not an option, per NFL rules. But what you say (and don't say) is an option.

Everything we've heard out of New England this week is how great the Cowboys are, no trash. It's been that way with them under BB for years.

Cowboys players have more freedom and exercise it. Let's just hope they back it up this week.
