It's the shut up and play mentality. Not understanding that even if they WANTED to, they couldn't. It's in the player contracts to talk to the media. They can actually be fined if they don't.I think that's something that a lot of fans do not realize.
Sure, some players have their own podcasts or post on social media, but when the media is writing about or tweeting player quotes, it's usually because of mandatory media time and reporters asking specific questions that required those types of answers.
I am sure a lot of players would love to not have to talk to the media, especially coming off a loss, but that is part of the job.
+1Y'all do know the players are REQUIRED to speak to the media. This quote is obviously from that interview.
He didn't tweet anything. He didn't post anything on social media.
He was asked a question and that was his response...which I'm not sure what he was supposed to say that would've satisfied anyone on here.
similar to the shut up and dribble mentality for some fans. It's the shut up and play mentality.
So no cowboys should do media this week? Psycho fans need helpKearse needs 2 be quiet and do his job. He was invisible last week.
Yes, us psycho fans think running your mouth after an arse whoopin is a bad thing. So no cowboys should do media this week? Psycho fans need help
Fair statement. I just think we have fatigue. Tired of the talk I guess and want better results.Kearse didn't say anything bad. Some of you only see what you want to see.
THIS^ MOST INFORMED STATEMNT MADE IN THIS THREAD. We made the cards look like an all star team.Even a smackdown by Josh Dobby isn't enough from keeping these guys from talking tough. You shouldn't be saying a single word until Sunday.
Again. SHOULD THEY BOYCOTT MEDIA THIS WEEK. yes or no.Yes, us psycho fans think running your mouth after an arse whoopin is a bad thing.
Every team has a bunch of players that are interviewed every single week. Those interviews are then quoted in newspapers, on television and the Internet. Aren't we used to it by now, people? Do you really think that NO OTHER TEAMS talk to reporters ?I really REALLY wish this team would stop their yapping all the time.
yes. I think the media wants these gotcha moments. Why feed the beast? A BIG YES.Again. SHOULD THEY BOYCOTT MEDIA THIS WEEK. yes or no.
Have you been following New England's players? How would any of us know what they are saying? Are you just presuming because Belichek is a caveman ?u notice New England is quiet? I have a bad feeling we might have another rough game. The team seems unhinged. McCarthy better reign this stuff in.
You know the doom and gloom gotta leave that out lol.To his credit he also said this: “For the first (time) since I’ve been here,” safety Jayron Kearse said, “I feel like I was part of the problem, and not a problem-solver.”
not a fan of this.Every team has a bunch of players that are interviewed every single week. Those interviews are then quoted in newspapers, on television and the Internet. Aren't we used to it by now, people? Do you really think that NO OTHER TEAMS talk to reporters ?
They arent talking about what they gonna do to us. They are keeping it fairly vanilla. Yes, I check in with the enemy team when we are about 2 play them.Have you been following New England's players? How would any of us know what they are saying? Are you just presuming because Belichek is a caveman ?
