I would love him to be our starter. I think we can have him for around 18 mils/anno.

But when you look in this forum and read thru all the posts, i figured the OP was about backup QB.

I don't like Dalton either but at least I'm honest enough with myself to know that 1.3 mil would get Dalton signed. He made 3 mil for this season as a backup so he's not going to take 1/3 of that for 2021. Like I said I'm not a Dalton fan but you have to be realistic.

we have to wait and see what his market is, I doubt if there is a big market of any kind for Dalton. He took this job, thinking its a bridge to the next starting job somewhere and he is from the area. I would hold steadfast, let him try the market and then come back to us, if he gets anyone to pay him anything more, then you let him walk. he offered nothing to the cowboys and we can get a cooper rush to do the same.
