Keith Brooking=poor man's Ray Lewis

I was a big advocate of signing ray lewis if only for his leadership. I had many debates on whether or not leadership was "earned" or someone new on a team could command it. I believe we have the answer to that question. having said that, at this point in their careers, i don't think brooking's play is that much under ray lewis' play to warrant the pay difference so i'm glad we got brooking at such a great price.

Brooking is a nice guy as well. When Ware is playing I doubt he looks very nice to the QB same with Ratliff and a few others. Being a nice guy or a decent person off the field does not make a person any less of an athlete or any less intense.

Go find the tape of the kick off return the Raven's had this weekend. After the return Lewis was talking to the return man, and you could see the respect that is given when Lewis talks! That is leadership, and that is what we have / need from Brooking!
