Yeah Jerry…Mike was the problem.

Wait….I thought Garrett was the problem.

Oh no, it was Wade.

Whoever comes here is only signing up to be the next scapegoat for front office failure.

And Moore would need a chest mic so the players can hear him address the team. Most wouldn’t listen anyway. Jerry is the coach and they know it. If they don’t, Lawrence will set them straight.

A KM hire would be a TERRIBLE step backward. I never have understood why folks and pundits are enamored with him. Rather have Ben Johnson anyday. He is very respected in the league and hes young.
I think Johnson gave a clandestine yet emphatic no.

Hopefully hurts not playing squashes Jerry’s impulses

If MM is let go I do not think Zimm or Moore would accept anything other than the HC job. And I think both would want to hire their own DC or OC.

Kellen Moore would be a terrible choice. I have zero confidence he's the guy to hold the team accountability.

Dunno, I think McCarthy is going to explore his options and if he has an out will leave.
It's certainly a possibility. We know teams like the Jets, Saints, and Bears will be looking for a new head coach. If one of those offers MM a chance to coach and gives him control over football operations, MM might just decide to move on from this circus.

The Bears could be interesting for MM. They have the best young QB out of the bunch. Jets do have the offensive weapons but I would want to stay away from the Aaron Rodgers drama show.

Wouldn't surprise me if Jacksonville is as well.

Pete Carroll or Mike McCarthy in Bears-land. ... i think Bears maybe paranoid and exhausted about fishing for younger, inexperienced HCs.

Why would McCarthy want to even chance joining up with Rodgers again ?. I would think no way in heell that reunion would happen.

This has been my prediction for a while. Kellen "knows how things work around here." The Eagles will win at least one playoff game and coordinators from playoff teams are popular hires. And he's Dak's BFF, and Jerry always wants to be "QB-friendly." If Zimmer stays, Jerry can sell change and continuity at the same time.

Odds are great that Kellen won't be as good as McCarthy, but the MM haters will get their wish and give the new guy more leash than the guy who's been here five years.

It's a perfect setup for Jerry.
Exactly. It fits Joneses to a tee.

KM is 'Dak-friendly' (but really, Jones friendly).

If KM is hired as the HC ,
Matt Eberfluse will most likely be hired as the DC.

If Zimm is out ... then I would have to think it's about promoting Al Harris to new DC.

Always been told the club is very high on Al Harris and how he relates/develops young defenders
and i believe Harris current contract expires after the season.
He'll have plenty of potential takers

As mentioned MM may have other opportunities, if not jerry will keep him because jerry is old and old people don't like change.

The more I think about it, I can see the Jets making a strong push for Mike..........
