Moore was running a CONSERVATIVE game plan for Rush, considering the circumstances. His output against the Giants essentially matched Dak’s and last year against the Vikings, had no problems finding Cooper and had a nice 70 yarder to Wilson over the middle and threw fir well over 300 yards.
Moore's game plan was pretty much high school level as Dak well is Dak.

Brady was a big play action QB most of his career.

Zeke was so bad that nobody cared if you were going to run the ball. And Jerry made Moore run more on first down trying to establish the run with a the horrid Zeke. Thats why this years numbers for Moore got so low in those categories.
Then why didn't someone start TPollard?

I'm a Dallas Cowboy fan...I could not care less about Dak getting hurt by the west coast rats?
Then stop lying about how you are now a Dak fan out to defend him, while at the same time criticizing and berating him. It's not a good look.

I never said this season only. I clearly stated that you, and those who think like you always disappear after Dak plays well/we win, and you don't give credit where it's due....

But when he plays bad and we lose you immediately start typing and jumping on all the things he did wrong. Where is that same energy when he plays well?? Why do you seem to fall back and post anything significantly less when he plays well???

These are clear cut questions that you are obviously avoiding and the whole CZ is witnessing it. Prove you aren't a coward and just answer the question.
Grow up with the BS 'coward' talk as if this is a middle school playground scenario. I post equally as much after wins or losses as I equally think Dak is not the answer for Dallas so take the accusations elsewhere.

...and that right there is just one reason why I would never entertain going to the dark side.....you have to be 100% Dak positive all the time unless yu are a liar and a hater as the Dak cheerleaders will attest to.

I guess we will find out this season who was more at fault. The pressure is on Dak to perform. No more excuses.
Heard that last year and the year before.

This team is boring.

Can’t wait til McCarthy “retires” next year after cowboys stink it up. We bring in like some college coach. Lose again. 2025 they go ok we gonna draft a qb now

For those interested in good reading and an education on Dak and what Moore failed todo, give it a read. Since play action and 3rd and long were two big issues for the offense its not hard to also surmise that the run game failures were also a problem as was the Oline blocking. Both in the run and the pass.

But if you prefer hard evidence, the statistics suggest that Prescott is best at play-action and deep shots. He’s been in the top five of all quarterbacks in passer rating on play-action attempts for all but one of his years in the NFL. Prescott has also ranked in the top 10 of quarterbacks in passer rating on throws that travel 20 yards or more in every year of his career thus far.

Similarly, Prescott attempted a pass over 20 yards downfield on just 10.8% of his passes. That ranks astonishingly low in the league, 23rd among qualifying quarterbacks. That’s fewer deep shots than Jacoby Brissett, Geno Smith, and rookies Kenny Pickett and Brock Purdy. Not only did the Cowboys limit their deep shot passing game, they were living for the short game, targeting hitch routes at the fourth highest rate of any offense in 2022.

Much of the blame has been laid at the feet of Prescott, and unfairly so. Prescott has proven time and again that he’s an extremely gifted quarterback, but the Cowboys - and, more specifically, Moore - failed him this season.
Dear Boy, interesting stats.

But, me lad, I canna shovel all this "INSERT NAME failed Preston" schlitz.
I need 50 more shovels and help from the rookies at CZ.

Dak failed Prescott. Deek failed Dak. Prescott failed Dak.
But most important, DAK FAILED DAK and tha is the ugly truth.

We'll find out if it's Moore or Dak next season. I was supportive in moving on for Moore because in critical moments there were some head scratching plays.
Funniest part of all this is that one side predominently hates Dak, and places ALL the blame on him.
The other side totally defends Dak and places all the blame on KM and/or others.
Why do they all seem to miss the obvious...it's not one or the other, it's both.
Dak is totally bi-polar. He's hot then cold, and no matter what plays are called Dak responds according to which end of the teeter totter he's riding......he's up or he's down.
KM was not good for Dak Prescott. Moore was a protege of Jason Garrett. He's no more of an offensive genius than Garrett was. Not only that, his stupid little Boise State trick plays very seldom work.
I'm glad KM's contract wasn't guaranteed through **** and high water like Dak's contract. :banghead:
KM's gone, now if we can just last till we can get out from under Dak's contract......

Daks loss of confidence in his own arm is the reason he has failed.

Good god, man! I'm trying to support your love of Dak and now you get mad at me? I never heard of someone being a Dak troll and now a homer troll. Dak needs more money for what he has to try and do to play a solid game of football.
And THAT would make him play better?

Who failed who between Dak and Kellen is strictly a matter of opinion. I happen to be of the opinion that neither was to blame for their combined failures to advance any further than they did. I think the ouster of Kellen had more to do with KM and McCarthy not jiving than anything else. (jmo)
Dak was far from perfect in his performance, just as Kellen was too. It should be intriguing to see how McCarthy fares in the year to come.
