Kellen failed because he didnt design a offense for dak, or if he did it wasnt very good.
Maybe he did (design an offense for Dak). Maybe the design was limited by Dak's (lack of) tools? We'll find out next season.

I predict KM will thrive, and Dallas's offense takes a step back.

So the only game he played well his whole career is the TB playoffs????

You see how you deflect the original question??? Nah, don't run like a coward again....

Share with the public why you posted less when Dak played well and we won with him under center, never giving him credit..... but posted immediately after games we loss and he played like **** and continued posting all week???

(Do yall see how this lil guy is running from this question??)
Stick to this season as that was what the conversation is about.....yet you want to find good games over 7 years...which speaks more volumes about you than anything else.

That all said, debating with someone that wants to use words like 'coward' to describe people is asinine and I am over it already.

Well considering I wasn't comparing Dak's 7 seasons against anyone's 10+ seasons; how can you make that comparison?...much like someone comparing Dak's 7 seasons to Herbert's 3 seasons.

That said, comparisons based on how QB's are playing now to one another is typical.
it is hard to compare QB's because they all have different coaching, different team mates, and play different schedules, unless they are in same div.
you should compare dak to only hurts, jones, and whoever wash is playing at qb. they all play the same schedule but still have different coaches.

He most likely did not mean to call you a coward, but I bet if you saw a snake or a mouse you would run away to the dark side...it's more funnier and happier.

Well I didnt care for kellens play designs or his play calling, but going to a new team could motivate him to change and be better..
For one thing he wont be autonomous , like in dallas, his HC can tell him to change this or that etc. He will have to please his HC, as
chargers are a normal team lol.
He will have a better passing qb, which fits kellens mindset more. And a totally different set of players to utilize.
Also a different culture, and no jerry protecting or meddling.

So yeah we will see how good kellen is next season, and I think the move will be good for him, he should be glad he is out of the "circus"

Stats are stats…just as 2 very critical INT”s in a playoff loss. As well in a few other losses that cost us HFA. Those resulted in a stat loss column.

I never said this season only. I clearly stated that you, and those who think like you always disappear after Dak plays well/we win, and you don't give credit where it's due....

But when he plays bad and we lose you immediately start typing and jumping on all the things he did wrong. Where is that same energy when he plays well?? Why do you seem to fall back and post anything significantly less when he plays well???

These are clear cut questions that you are obviously avoiding and the whole CZ is witnessing it. Prove you aren't a coward and just answer the question.

Kellen Moore was a carbon copy of Jason Garrett as an offensive coordinator. Both had this vision of a prolific passing offense. Garrett's "Coryell" offense only briefly paused during the 2016 season because he was forced to use a rookie 4th round draft pick as his starter.

However, that offense was exactly the style the Cowboys would be successful in. It featured a strong running game propelled by an All Pro Offensive line with a young premium back. Not only did this offense allow Prescott the best play-action opportunities, it slowed down the game enough to keep the opponent often off the field and allow more rest for a questionable defense.

Both Jason Garrett and Kellen Moore should have stuck with this "busdriver" style offense but it contradicted their preferred offensive style. Therefore they both proceeded to stick square objects into round holes. Prescott was never going to be an elite passer, the required physical attributes would have made him a top 5 overall pick. However, he was cool under limited pressure and could deliver the ball accurately on designed plays. He could contribute under conditions in which he only had to throw the ball less than 30 times a game.

In his first three seasons, Dak was 17-3 whenever he threw less than 30 passes..

So true...Dak to me is a good athlete, just a guy that is big and strong, one of them "I'm a big mutha...sucker") that he said. He played College ball at a mid school, did good for how gifted he was as a running QB. Got drafted by the Boyz and got his opportunity to be the QB of the Cowboys.

This point I'm going to try and make is that he will never be a pocket QB because his throws and his reads and his eyesight get all out of whack because he is to big for what he is...he lumbers around, not quick on his feet, his release is way slow.

I was remembering how Tom Brady said he did his workouts. Does not lift heavy, but tons of cardio, he is skinny as hell compared to a guy like Dak. In other words, Dak does not play fast, he is to big of an athlete.

IMO the game is to fast for him, and that freaked me out when he said that he could see the game better on the sideline when he was hurt and then comes and does what he did? That's our QB.

Get him, bro! Get him good. He does not know how great Dak is, and I'm not sure anyone else does. The guy is amazing, amazing I tell you.
Nah he isn’t amazing by any stretch but nowhere near as bad as some make but now that you’ve gone to the dark side ( your words not mine)

I guess you’ll be joining them in poor evaluation ?

For those interested in good reading and an education on Dak and what Moore failed todo, give it a read. Since play action and 3rd and long were two big issues for the offense its not hard to also surmise that the run game failures were also a problem as was the Oline blocking. Both in the run and the pass.

But if you prefer hard evidence, the statistics suggest that Prescott is best at play-action and deep shots. He’s been in the top five of all quarterbacks in passer rating on play-action attempts for all but one of his years in the NFL. Prescott has also ranked in the top 10 of quarterbacks in passer rating on throws that travel 20 yards or more in every year of his career thus far.

Similarly, Prescott attempted a pass over 20 yards downfield on just 10.8% of his passes. That ranks astonishingly low in the league, 23rd among qualifying quarterbacks. That’s fewer deep shots than Jacoby Brissett, Geno Smith, and rookies Kenny Pickett and Brock Purdy. Not only did the Cowboys limit their deep shot passing game, they were living for the short game, targeting hitch routes at the fourth highest rate of any offense in 2022.

Much of the blame has been laid at the feet of Prescott, and unfairly so. Prescott has proven time and again that he’s an extremely gifted quarterback, but the Cowboys - and, more specifically, Moore - failed him this season.
Excellent points. This makes me fear the West Coast offense (short pass timing patterns) will hurt Dak as well.

Why do you want to get worried about Dak.
A change will be good for all of Cowboy fans to see.

Kellen tried to dumb down the offense but hero dak didn't mean what he said while on the sideline. It was easy for him to see a guy with the gift of reading defense but hard for him to do it—poor ole pea-brain dak. dang so many excuses, but don't worry his dakgobblers will find more next season.

Sadly we should all know by now that the one thing for which there is a limitless supply is excuses for Dak.

Fake News. NFL players, coaches, scouts and execs saw that Dak is the chosen, accept it or laugh on. That's all I have on the subject.

Take down all these excuses for next year-

Getting fired was just what Kellen needed to grow as a coordinator. (One of my favorites)

Herbert's numbers are in spite of Kellen. Dude's phenomenal just like we've been saying for years.

Jerry has mismanaged [insert position group/contract/draft].

It's a new offense.

Oline can't block.

Someone is injured.

McCarthy sucks.

I think there's at least something in there that'll keep you from having to change your mind if they make it to and lose in the playoffs again.
