For those interested in good reading and an education on Dak and what Moore failed todo, give it a read. Since play action and 3rd and long were two big issues for the offense its not hard to also surmise that the run game failures were also a problem as was the Oline blocking. Both in the run and the pass.

But if you prefer hard evidence, the statistics suggest that Prescott is best at play-action and deep shots. He’s been in the top five of all quarterbacks in passer rating on play-action attempts for all but one of his years in the NFL. Prescott has also ranked in the top 10 of quarterbacks in passer rating on throws that travel 20 yards or more in every year of his career thus far.

Similarly, Prescott attempted a pass over 20 yards downfield on just 10.8% of his passes. That ranks astonishingly low in the league, 23rd among qualifying quarterbacks. That’s fewer deep shots than Jacoby Brissett, Geno Smith, and rookies Kenny Pickett and Brock Purdy. Not only did the Cowboys limit their deep shot passing game, they were living for the short game, targeting hitch routes at the fourth highest rate of any offense in 2022.

Much of the blame has been laid at the feet of Prescott, and unfairly so. Prescott has proven time and again that he’s an extremely gifted quarterback, but the Cowboys - and, more specifically, Moore - failed him this season.
Let me preface this by saying, I don't think we should have signed Dak to a franchise contract.

But I know we live in the real world and Jerry put the team where they had to do it because he was not ready to trade or let him walk.
Next years cap hit is huge, probably third in the league.
Dak is a good QB, if he was on the Niners they probably win the SB, but that is because Shanahan is a great offensive mind. I am sure Dak does well with the Rams. He is good enough to win but he is not gifted like the elite guys and its not an insult. It is just a fact.
He is apparently a really good student of the game, great at the line of scrimmage, changing plays, protections, etc but he is also a bit inaccurate and just is not elite. He is honestly a bit better than Kirk.

Moore on the other hand is good at drawing up plays in his parents basement but doesnt know how to call a game. Maybe that is because of the lack of weapons, or the FO continuing to feed Zeke. The team is obviously very predictable. The zone read running game is terrible. Nothing wrong with i formation, or Shanahan running stye.

I am very sure Moore will look amazing next year with Herbert, as the QB is a generational talent.
I think Dallas again underwhelmed a little but with Brian S ( not trying to spell). It will bring a fresh take, and I want Big Mike to earn his paycheck.
He called plays in GB lets see what he can do. If the Cowboys upgrade the weapons we should be better, if its the usual we like our guys then see you all same time same place.

No more excuses? LOL

Poor blocking Oline, dumb OC, Zeke at RB, and not enough weapons to throw to.

"NO MORE EXCUSES" :lmao::lmao::lmao:

How do you even know MM is going to do a better or worse job?

Troll logic at its best. Already blaming Dak before the season has even started.
The O-Line did not play that bad this year. No QB has the perfect O-line, WRs', an all star RB and a great O-Coordinator. A lot of QB's have done more with less. Dak will get less help this year because of his and Zeke's dumb contracts. Dak is a accident waiting to happen.

What are you scared of them? LOL

Just a bunch of know nothing cry babies.
I am totally convinced after thinking about Dak's no trade clause. Now that I do think about it I'm sure that it was JJ's idea for the no trade clause in case Dak wants to bounce and JJ thought to himself, no freaking way, oh hell no, I'm not going to let Dak leave this team even if he wants to. JJ knows how great of a QB Dak is and he does not want any other team to have him. Us real Cowboy fans are real lucky.

Really?

Ill just name two that have what you claim no one has:

Purdy, Hurts.

The stats showed the Cowboys Oline didnt pass block well. Those are just the facts.

Purdy also has the #1 defense in the NFL and hurts has the #2 defense in the NFL and #1 pass rushing defense.

Herbert, everyone darling that continues to choke.

He has been in the NFL for three years, Dak has been in for seven coming on eight. Saying that, Herbert will never be the QB that Dak has become.

Are you joking again? Your going way overboard.

Jerry needs to make sure he has a tradeable clause in there. If were going to be spending 40-50 million on Dak he needs to be an asset we can trade.

I would take Herbert over Dak. But again hebert is not elite so he needs an all world team around him with coaching.

Herbert seems to lack some leadership qualities. Maybe he develops them.

No, I'm coming to the dark side because I'm learning how football works and how Dak is the best in the NFL if only he had a team around him, not all these scrubs. Amazing talent, I tell you.

The bold is what the Dak haters always say about Dak. If they would learn football they would know that.

Purdy also played it safe with the ball. He had 0 turnovers to Dak's 2 and that was the difference in the game. The Cowboys defense definitely played well enough to win that game.

Dak haters are no worse than anyone saying Dak is elite. Problem is no one says Dak is elite so. Your the first.

A Dak troll trying to be a homer troll. Nice one.

How about just being realistic?

Good god, man! I'm trying to support your love of Dak and now you get mad at me? I never heard of someone being a Dak troll and now a homer troll. Dak needs more money for what he has to try and do to play a solid game of football.

Purdy did squat. His defense won it for him. They outplayed the Cowboys D. Purdy threw 2 easy picks and one pick 6 that bounced through Diggs bread basket. Cowboys D obviously DIDNT play well enough to win. The NINERS D played well enough to win.

Cowboys D also caved in the 4th quarter giving up 10 points. The TD drive in the 4th was 3 defensive penalties. One whiping out a sack.

Why I ask must you continue to disturb the hornets nest? These idiot Dak haters have done nothing but destroy this board for the better part of a year and the Daks interception ratio hasnt helped that. This board sucks because of it and posts like this and AC and Rockys continued crowning of Dak only riles these folks up more.

Its the offseason to boot now so they will do nothing but talk crazy till next september
Yeah, because this post added so much to the group you say sucks.

Nothing like stone cold facts to get the Dak trolls up in arms. :lmao:

At this point, I would never expect a guy like you to educate himself on the facts. Too far gone.
You know nothing of facts. You inject your emotions into the group constantly then try and herald yourself as a facts guy. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Thank you! Finally, yes Dak is elite and anyone that questions me, well, they would be wrong. I think JJ finally found the QB that will win several SB's before it's all over.
