And this is not pointed at risen specifically as there are many others in this thread who seem to think either that Moore is/was the problem or Dak is/was the problem.

I think they share a great deal in this problem.

I will say this, and this is NOT to deflect or defend from Daks issues, see my post in the post game thread.

The problem we had some years back was when Jerry hired Jason to be the new OC when Jason had only been a QB Coach for around a year. Jerry later promoted him to HC. I do not think Jason was ready nor exp enough to become the OC at the time nor the HC later. But Jerry wanted his wunderkind after losing out on SP since Sean left to the Saints,

Now you have moore playing one year, Named QB coach after retiring from playing and a year later promoted to OC.

Both were IMO before he was ready and did not have the exp for either.

Again Jerry did not want to lose his young wunderkind

However the problem with both was they were having to learn on the job and doing so during a time when they are wasting some good players years.

I get not wanting some old retread of a coach for OC. I also like the idea of a young coach with some fresh ideas, however at the same time it would be nice to see aa person that has already shown they are ready for the job instead of just promoting an iffy person because you are afraid of losing them

I'd cut Dak and take Brady in a heartbeat. I don't care about the dead money. TB is enough to get us to where we need to go.

If he does go to Carolina we will get to see if he is another Garrett who once loved by Jerry Jones is out of pro football coaching in less than two years.

Or, Dak really was the issue all along as Kellen lights up the world with his brilliance as an OC.

Fair points. I think a mentor instead of a peer as OC would be beneficial. One that understands how to balance the pass & run. Moore is JG/Linehan 2.0.
His route concepts & scheme are suspect.

Linny was actually the best of the bunch. Moore and JG are tied for third

Steve Wilks and Frank Reich are getting second interviews. Looks like Moore isn't going to Carolina.
