So everyone is off the Lincoln Riley train now?
That was mostly Sooners fans. I was on the Matt Rhule train myself.

Taking the right job ensures a chance at success. Why do you think the "Great," Phil Jackson turned down many positions to coach after leaving the Bulls unti he got to walk into the Lakers job that had two of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA on the roster?I have the impression that Moore isn’t in a rush. Him not taking the Boise job tells me that. So I think that he won’t take just any job and wants to be ready when he does. He hasn’t been coaching in any position for all that long. I think he wants to be as prepared as possible to be successful and knows he has time to do it right.
funny thing is... JERRY DID discover him, or at least hire a very young, very unproven "Kid," to be the O coordinator. But of course, we know nobody will ever give Jerry credit for anything that goes right around this place, will they.On the other hand, he could claim credit for "discovering" Moore, which is a powerful Jerry lure.

yeah he cant tell the truth, he has to give a statement that wont offend jones, and any future suitors.Such a non answer, he just put a bunch of words together that would try to end discussion without actually addressing the issue, along ways away could be the off-season
Gotta feel out the process......Has no thoughts of that as he interviewed for the Egals job.

Am I the only one who thinks it would be premature for Moore to be a head coach? I mean, he's really young, and he hasn't been an OC all that long. I think Jones needs to find a way to entice him to stay. Coach's money is not part of the salary cap, so just pay Moore some absurd amount of money, more than he would make anywhere else as a head coach, to get him to stay. Then whenever McCarthy is done, Moore will take his place.
I wasn’t sure who is the youngest coach in the league is or was . Thank you for thatHe's 33.
I think thats a year or two younger than McVay
That was my thought, too. Slippery answer. Thanksgiving is a "long way off." Heck, I'm hungry and lunch seems a "long way off."Such a non answer, he just put a bunch of words together that would try to end discussion without actually addressing the issue, along ways away could be the off-season
I'm not sure if McVay is the youngest. That's my guess thoughI wasn’t sure who is the youngest coach in the league is or was . Thank you for that
Boise job would have been comfortable but a step down. Head coach in NFL would be a step up.
I don’t know if he was ever in the running for the job. I have friends whom live in Boise and the talk up there was that Boise never consider him. It was just something that Aikman said and the media ran with it. Of course this could also be all false too. So who knows.I have the impression that Moore isn’t in a rush.
