It’s a good move for both sides. Moore does well as OC in San Diego he will have much more interest by clubs looking for a head coach. For us it just offers us some change which hopefully is a good thing.

Now he can open up the talented QB part of his playbook.
If Moore is successful with Hebert it's a further indictment of Dak and the perception of him will get worse around the league. He will be under a tremendous amount of pressure next year especially when the boos start and make no mistake...

They are coming.

Being my son is a charger fan . I watch a lot of chargers, any offensive coordinator would be in love with Herbert the guy makes throws I've never seen before.
Lombardi just wouldn't let go of his dink and dunk crap

I’ve always liked Moore as a person and I think there is a talented football mind there. This is a great chance for him to elevate his playcalling to another level. Whether or not he will remains to be seen. It’s a very talented offense though and a QB that can make every throw. It’ll be fun to see how he does.

Moore was already successful with Dak, and he’ll be successful with Herbert. Because he’s a good OC.

One thing is certain: Moore will not have the long leash that Jerry gave him.
Jerry fired him after having the #1 offense in football 4 straight years in games in which he had his starting QB. That’s only happened once before in league history.

That’s a short leash if anything

For some reason I was under the impression that Staley was regarded as one of these young offensive genius types and called his own plays.

That guy is on some thin ice. I’m surprised Moore would walk into the middle of it. Maybe he will take a page out of his mentors book and get Staley fired so he can take over.

I'm also counting his years as QB and QBC. Dude was as almost as hard to shake as a Garrett.

I think he'll be a solid coordinator in LA but I don't think hes ever going to be head coach material
