Well it's great he sees him as a WR, now if he can just be smart enough to be able to utilize him correctly and not just be predictable. If not, then don't even use him; keep him healthy for special teams.

Just FYI. Save your tricks plays for a playoff game when you need that big play to turn the momentum of the game.

I think this kid could potentially be a Cowboys’ version of Tyreek Hill. The Cowboys locked him up on a three year dear and he has already locked down the kr/pr position. This kid might end up being something special.

It would not surprise me if this kid had a meteoric rise as a wr.

Turpin is not a RB.

Especially not in NFL.

He’s not an every down RB if you insist on running him between the tackles. But if you use him like they used to use Sproles we are off and running.

Sproles was powerful for his size. Similar heights but Sproles had almost FIFTY lbs on Turpin.

Turpin like Beasley needs to play from slot to maximize his ability in space and to keep NFL defenders from killing him.

Cowboys' roster is going to be difficult to gameplan for.

Are we running the 12 set?

Are we rolling with trips with Turpin in the slot?

Where is Turpin? Pollard?

Would love to see us start out in 12 personnel with Pollard as the back, then switch to 3 WR sets, 4 WRs, etc.

It's the same offense, but it's not.

I'm actually hoping Turpin gets more reps in the slot than Tolbert. Glad we got this guy since Moore couldn't figure out how to use Pollard. But even with Turpin I still want to see Pollard get reps at WR.

Those fake sweeps and fake screens are really going to open things up for our RB's. Hard to play eight in the box with Turpin and Lamb on the field together.

I'd constantly put Pollard on the outside and Turpin in the slot next to him. Or stack both of them on the outside to give Zeke some running room. Defense coordinators will lose sleep if I was the OC.

Same. Guy could explode onto the scene, no doubt. He has the skillset.

I only worry about him taking too many hits. 150 lbs is frail in NFL terms.

I think y'all need to cool those jets (see what I did there?). Turpin looked good returning kicks against backups but he does not have the turbo boost that Hill does (see below, including a painful memory). He doesn't have to have it to be successful but I hope people don't turn on him if he doesn't deliver to their ambitious goals.
