Kellen Moore - why did he not become our head coach?

absolute fact yes Kellen Moore was interviewed via zoom and then schottenheimer was interviewed after but in between if you remember and I do for a fact that there was an actual formal interview that was gonna happen between the NFC championship game and the Super bowl because there was extra time more had a second interview set up..

but jerry jones decided to hire schottheimer instead,

but no that is not true that more was ruled out it was absolutely a second formal interview set up, it just never happened ,because Schottenheimer was hired because Schottenheimer won the job..

I like how you guys like to twist things to make it seem like Jerry made a mistake, no Jerry made a choice and Kellen Moore LOST and BTW is the last dude on the list for the LAST Opening, and in my opinion, a consolation prize..

and we will only know in the future which choice was better and even then, it's going to be perspective ,like what's the rosters look like, what do the GM's doing top help the staffs, I mean this is all going to be to be determined later.

Did Moore interview anywhere else? Jerry does not count, that was a courtesy interview.
NO took him as there was no one else left.

What’s the difference between the two as head coach at this point? No one can say definitively for now, but I can confidently say that neither is going to be some miracle worker that can win without the right players…..and the powers that be don’t wish to do what’s necessary in that regard.

So, honestly….doesn’t matter.

It’s simple. Just look at his demeanor and listen to him. Not to mention he’s got a baby face. If you’re super young with minimal experience, you can’t be soft spoken as well. Nothing about him says he can lead a franchise. Schotty was not my first choice, but he’s a better choice than Moore for THIS franchise.

Yes, no date and time but it WAS in fact talked about they said a formal interview was coming but never materialized because BS WON THE DAMN JOB!!

literally we have who Jerry wanted, and so far he's put together a very good staff ,and now you want somebody that you never wanted in the 1st place? you all our bi-polar with the contant backtracking and flip flopping...get OVER IT!!

most people around here were dead set against Kellen Moore. And all of a sudden the backtracking because of what you're smelling the fumes of a Super Bowl in which he was on an all-in team,

so the eye candy tells you he would've been the better choice, that's a bunch of nonsense,

that's just ridiculous, the things around here necessary that we needed about four Kellen more threads people are high from the fumes...

Doesn't mean moore will never be good ,but it doesn't mean BS won't either...

I mean this is just insane they'll do anything to make it look like Jerry made a mistake they twist everything I I realized the hate for Jerry Jones that the stain but they act like he did this like a knee jerk reaction no Brian Schottenheimer blew Jerry's doors off in interviews and all the references & the talks that Jerry had, he got glowing references from past coaches and players that he's worked around, including our own ,and that's why he won the job outright.. KM never got his second formal interview and history is whatever it turns out....ho lost out on the great Kellen moore.LOL .

The Cowboys are one of the orgs that pay the lowest salaries to their HC. Why on earth would Kellen Moore who is going to be able to command a way higher salary and won't have to deal with the overhead of dealing with Jerry and the dysfunction of the Dallas Cowboys?

I would say, many of these that are using KM as a knock against BS and the FO. Were the same ones that wanted KM gone.

Exactly. And my standpoint is. Jerry did this as a favor for KM. Give him and interview, get his name out there. Get him HC interview experience.
And if KM is hired away, it possibly weakens the Eagles.

You might be right, but I think Eberflus was on their radar the minute the Bears fired him. They are very comfortable with him. Wouldn't be surprised if Zimmer got wind of this, he seemed upset at the end of season. (all speculation on my part)

Proof? And all these other coaches that are higher paid, what were their contracts before they were successful?
I would say, they did not start out making what they are now. So comparisons are not all that simple.
