RELEASED Kellen Moore won't return

Totally a possibility that we now get worse…
I mean I’m cautiously optimistic and feel that Dak has needed a more Dak friendly/manager as OC but hard to keep pace with the points per game we were, the offense just failed when things got tough too many times

WHERE IN THE HELL ARE Y'ALL GETTING THE INFO THAT CORKY IS GONNA CALL THE PLAYS??? GUESSING? IF NOT, SOURCE PLEASE!!!

I expect Dan Quinn will takeover this team week 5-8 depending.

This is a total ploy by JJ

I have mixed feelings about this:

Not the biggest Moore fan. His system is basically Linehan's. He's a hold over from the Garrett era that was probably foisted on McCarthy. He has a certain tone deafness to his play calling at times. He often didn't try to come up with a gameplay to work around personnel issues (i.e. Dak).

At the same time, this feels like he is being scapegoated. They have to get rid of someone, but can't get rid of Dak, so Moore gets shown the door.

Whatever I guess, McCarthy is going to have to have an actual hand in the offense now. He is going to have accountability and responsibility.

Every fanbase hates their OC. Moore had the #1 offense for 4 years in a row in games Prescott started.

We can do better, but we can EASILY do worse
I feel like our stats were a lot of empty yards.

How many times have we been called out after a game for being “simple” “easy” etc. Hell before both playoff games this year. Evans said we were simple and then Jimmie Ward said how easy we were to defend.

Not saying he’s bad or the worst. But at any point outside of the Minnesota game, have you ever felt confident this offense would remain consistent or dominate.

Honestly that's why hes on his way out of here. I think Jerry's had enough but he couldn't fire him. I'm just anxious to see how much rope he gets
They got rid of a good chunk of their coaches so I think you are not too far off on this.

I've watched Kellen since his Boise State days. Moore's offensive philosophy precedes the Cowboys. The problem for Moore ultimately came down to trying to make Dak into something he wasn't - cerebral, quick-decision, read the field type of football. Not Dak's thing. Honestly surprised that this relationship lasted as long as it did.

You can stop waiting now - go fetch!!
So you are saying Kellen ran his BYU playback for Dallas?

Not the pro style offense he ran under Garret?

Gotcha...I'm the moron huh?

I don't know WHY MM didn't take over this season, at some poinf, if Kellen was struggling. This makes no sense. Why waste a season? The playoffs?
Jerry didn’t ok it until the 49er loss.

Good. Now I want to see the next OC that Dak gets fired so the rest of the people hanging onto hope Dak is salvageable can own up and admit it's all on Dak.
And, if that happens, I absolutely will say Dak killed the OC. But, what happens if the OPPOSITE happens and he helps Dak take a major step forward?

Finally.
