So funny that those posting celebratory comments are the Dakfanatics that needed to use Kellen Moore as a scapegoat for Dak sucking.......well, let's see how Dak does in 2023 because if he isn't elite and takes Dallas to the NFC Championship then we will all know the real problem is Dak POS Prescott (although many of us already know Dak is the problem).

The move comes as a surprise considering Dallas' offense has performed well since Moore took over. Moore, who has been the team's offensive coordinator since 2019, helped the Cowboys rank 6th, 17th, 1st and 4th in points scored over his four seasons. The team's low ranking in 2020 came after Dak Prescott sustained a season-ending ankle injury in Week 5.

Prescott also missed time this season, but the Cowboys still managed strong numbers on offense with Cooper Rush at the helm. Dallas scored over 20 points in 4 of the 5 games started by Rush.

Moore is a good OC and is the fall guy.

I expect Dak and McCarthy futures are linked. Dak can’t run that west coast offense. Cooper rush is smart enough to run the WCO. Dan Quinn likely will be the head coach after the 2023 season.

As soon as the 49ers lost, Jerry needed a fall guy and Dak has a 49 million dollar cap hit. Moore does not have a cap hit. Poor guy. Moore carried that offense this year.

Next year is gonna be wild.

McCarthy from very start of his tenure said I'm not handling the offense. Always deferred to the OC. I don't care about the #1 ranked offense stats if it can't be done when it matters. Now McCarthy will remain on the yearly hot seat. His situational play calling will be on full display for everyone to see. We'll see how it goes....
He’s on the hot seat anyway. Why not go down swinging with what YOU KNOW and take some control of the situation then leave it in the hands of an OC running an offense that ISN’T yours? Smart move on him. Not to mention, if he is fired, he breaks the chain of Jerry keeping yet another hold over to run the team.

Well, hopefully Dallas finally get away from the Garrett offense and drops Zeke off at the thrift store so they can start fresh
