RELEASED Kellen Moore won't return

I've watched Kellen since his Boise State days. Moore's offensive philosophy precedes the Cowboys. The problem for Moore ultimately came down to trying to make Dak into something he wasn't - cerebral, quick-decision, read the field type of football. Not Dak's thing. Honestly surprised that this relationship lasted as long as it did.

You can stop waiting now - go fetch!!

"The problem with Moore is he tried to make Prescott an NFL QB."

What did Moore do wrong ? I’ll hang up and listen …

The Cowboys finished fourth in the NFL in scoring during the regular season with an average of 27.5 points. They did this even though Prescott missed five games with a broken thumb on his throwing hand.

Dallas led the league in scoring the previous year with an average of 31.2 points, scoring a franchise
I think the passing game is hamstrung by the play of the quarterback.

I would love to know what Moore thinks of Prescott.
For sure. Dak has regressed.

If I was Washington I would hire him tonight. Kellen averaged 30 points the last two seasons with Dak at quarterback, an average offensive line, no weapons and a washed running back. If you listen to the board Kellen should be the next Shanahan.
And he got you 12 points against San Francisco.

McCarthy from very start of his tenure said I'm not handling the offense. Always deferred to the OC. I don't care about the #1 ranked offense stats if it can't be done when it matters. Now McCarthy will remain on the yearly hot seat. His situational play calling will be on full display for everyone to see. We'll see how it goes....
