Which I think is right. I don't see any reason to rush them on the field. Brown and Lewis are here because they're experienced. I think Joseph and Wright will slowly see increased playing time as they develop. However, in no way should they be taking on the likes of Mike Evans to start the season. Diggs and Brown will probably do that. Conversely, I think Brown and Lewis will have great seasons this year knowing they are probably playing for other teams after this season given that Joseph and Wright will probably be taking over after this season.

They’ve been in training camp for a month. These dudes are worn out and ready for a break before the season starts. On top of that they are learning something new and going against guys at the highest level.

Yeah give him some time. If he still looks bad in November or December then maybe he might not pan out. The preseason is not enough for me to bail on the guy. Byron Jones was a mediocre S and then got moved to CB and played well. That took 4 years to happen. So 4 or 5 weeks of preseason isn't enough for me to worry. I hope the coaches can get him going and it doesn't take 4 years to get him there.

Indeed. He showed a lot of good this last preseason game. Looks like the Cowboys found their backup Center. Connor Williams can stay at Left Guard where he has played well and not have to worry about snapping the football for now.
 
He should stick to his booming rap career and let football players play football.

just as i see it too. .. just very Rookie like.
Not as NFL ready as Diggs were coming into NFL

Hes' in learning process - but overreactive fans not gonna have that- they gonna insist it's either now or he's not gonna a player

Joseph thinks he can easily run stride with WRs in NFL,without press jamming them at line and getaway easily with that.
Seems not yet sure of his techniques and not yet able to anticipate NFL WR routes..

He's clearly not ready to overtake Brown and i'm preparing myself that it wont happen just this year ... btw, i don't think Wright is and will
not be that ready either vs Brown
 
Im not sure what you guys really want.

Joseph has been really good in coverage plus has made some good tackles.

Didn't give up a TD all preseason and the 2 biggest completions he had against him came after pushoffs but didn't go anywhere as he had them stuck against the out of bounds line.

I have no problem with starting Joseph opposite Diggs and just let him get better as the season goes on.

Diggs got burnt big time last year and gave up multiple TDs but guess because y'all like him it was ok.

Not as ready as Diggs was last year? You mean Diggs on Dallas last year that got burnt over and over again, that gave up tons of TDs......

He did a nice job today
He got the snap completed which is better than CW
If we need him I’d let Martin or CW make line calls just to take that off him
I don’t know if he’d be game day backup because of the facts it has to be G/C but if we need someone a few weeks he looks better than CW did

Bad teams like the Dallas Cowboys need their second round picks to make an impact.........you don't draft guys in round 2 unless they can start on your team and this guy was a high second round pick. If you whiff on those, the team is screwed.
