ExactlyYeah. Personally I would have selected Humphrey at that slot but there were very good players on the board when we reached for this guy who had several red flags

The draft is also the cheapest way to build quality depth. The Cowboys have shown this year is about next man up... that is a reflection of good drafts... it's all sunk cost in the end... just win!thats a good perspective but the problem is that the draft is for getting cheap productive players. If they’re nut productive until year 3-4 when they will need to be paid, it’s a problem and believe me he will want to be paid

Our starting crew is keeping 2nd round talent at bay... nice problem to have...
Of Course you would. Nothing wrong with what they have. For me I’d rather Asante.
Which is weird because he has 4.3 speed lol
Yes and that one player is great depth at cb...you might have missed it but this thread is about one player, Kelvin Joseph
Brown is a really good CBAside from Joseph, I don’t understand the obsession with replacing Brown. He’s a damn good CB and has been even better this year than last. He’s going to get a nice contract this coming offseason.
Next year when Brown is gone, Joseph, Bland, and Wright will all be trying for that spot. May the best man win.
Until then, we have good depth and a good gunner on ST’s. Yes you want your 2nd round pick doing more than that, but if he’s a good starter next year and the year after then it’ll be a lot less disappointing. We’ll have to see.
