Wade just said he thinks Mike will be up... He's been playing well in practice, though he's played more strong than free.

Wade won't commit to anything right now as far as who will play where, but it sounds to me like we might get a look at Mike.

I expect some mistakes, but he's a smart guy. This might actually benefit us in the end if he's as good as a lot of people think.

I hope its Ball.

If its him I predict we actually get a pick from the FS position.

What did he say about Colombo I just missed it....?

I like Ball at S, too, but he's our fourth corner and Jenkins is a little banged up. What if Jenkins gets hit right on that arm again?

And he said Colombo had some ligament damage in his ankle, similar to what Sam Hurd had last year. He's having surgery today.

If Jenkins is able to play, they'll start Ball at FS with Watkins/MHamlin backing up.

This one game wasnt worth all the injuries. I'd have rather lost by 50+ but kept everyone healthy.

that is a valid point and question, would it have been wiser to insert your backup and pull the starters and save them for the season?

I'd like to see Hamlin in there....even though he's a rookie. Watkins isn't exactly going to keep us safe in the meantime, so if we're gonna put someone in there, might as well be someone with some upside.

You don't learn to overcome adversity by quitting.

Agreed, I was shocked when Jenkins went back out there after the game was out of reach. Dude should of remained on the sideline. I like the courage, but, the game was out of reach at that point IMO. I don't think I would of kept Romo in there that long either. I am glad they got the garbage TD and didn't get shut out, but, not worth it.

Sucks about Ken Hamlin. And really sucks about Columbo. That one really stings.

It wasn't a blow-out game so when would they have done that?

The way I look at it is, its football and players are going to get hurt, this opens the door for someone else to make some plays.

No, because the game wasn't lost until the Felix Jones fumble recovery/down by contact/strip-no call play.

Looks like all of the Ken Hamlin haters will get their wish next week. We'll see how it plays out. I would expect Sherm Lewis to go right at our FS position on the first drive.

The bad news is Watkins usually looks lost out there. The good news is so did Ken Hamlin. Mike Hamlin please.

That's what I'm hoping. Throw him in there.
