This isn't even equivalent to when RW31 got hurt last year.

At least Hamlin a decent safety.

Who ever is showing the most during practice is the one I want filling for Ken Hamlin. To me Watkins, Ball and M. Hamlin are all part of this team and I support each one but as far as who plays that should come down to which guy is showing the coaches he is ready to play.

Well, at least we'll get to see how much of an impact Hamlin really makes in the secondary.

Is he the solid FS who gets our secondary lined up...?

Or is he just another guy?

We'll find out.

Watkins hasn't been horrible during his snaps this season. It won't be the end of the world with him staring a few weeks.

Watkins gave up some plays after filling in. I guess now we get to see how important Hamlin really was to the defense.

The only chance we have with deer in head lights Watcant's is if we blitz like crazy and destroy the passer, we're doomed....

Thank you. Nuff said.

If we would have started sitting people everyone would be labeling the team as cowards. And if anyone denies that, they are lying.

Man the injuries just keep piling up after this game. What a dreadful weekend for the Cowboys.

How could you even possibly say that? Before this last game, the guy had played only a handful of snaps at safety all season. How could he possibly have been an upgrade? He's not even hardly playing the position.

And now, apparently according to Wade, he's not even going to take over the starting role.

hey correction boy, don't forget this one

Does anybody really believe the 2-4 week projection for a high ankle sprain? Isn't it more like 4-6 weeks?

Hamlin (Ken) has been pretty good at tackling this year. I just wish he had been more of a ball hog and intercepted a couple.

I would start Ball in his absence and then bring in Watkins or M. Hamlin in the nickle and dime. I'd kind of like to see what Mike can do.

Dear lord, all the wistfullness for Ken Hamlin is making me ill. The only thing KHam did reasonably well was line up the secondary after James relayed the D play. Which is something that Sensabaugh does as well.

Ken Hamlin was a below average tackler, below average ball hawk and below average in man 2 man coverage. Ken Hamlin was the player the secondary could most afford to lose.

I hope the Cowboys season does not hinge on KHam.

Instead of a "fondness" for Ken, it might be a case of dreading his inferior replacement.

In either case, Ken Hamlin is not likely here next year so why not find out what we have in the young guys now. No better teams to "field test" the "inferior" replacements than against the Skins and Raiduhs.

FYI: There are fans who exhibit a defeatist attitude within the first few minutes of a game. Check any first half gameday thread for verification. Your comment is profound, but it will be utterly lost on some since they may already embrace a quitter's mentality, which they believe the team should share as well.

If we have to play Watkins then put him at SS and slide Sensabaugh back to FS that way Watkins can get hurt right away and taken off the field.:laugh2:

Hamlin hasn't been playing bad the last two games, but he's stunk enough now that I'm excited for Ball...
