Jenkins is physically the best DB we have on ths roster. Newman may(or once did) have better long speed but Jenkins has the better combination of speed, quickness and ball skills. That doesn't necessarily make Jenkins the better player as Newman has the experience and guile of the veteran that he is. But let's just say we're in good shape with Jenkins at CB.

I'm officially ready to call Jenkins our best DB. Newman has seemed very average this year. He doesn't seem to have the zip he used to. I fear the end of his contract will be the end of his career as a Cowboy. Scandrick seems to have really great coverage but doesn't find the ball. Sensabaugh always seems to have pretty good coverage and is around the ball, I think we should lock him up unless we're pretty certain Mike Hamlin is going to be better. I really have no idea how Ken Hamlin is playing as I hardly ever see him make a play. However, he must be doing something right as we haven't been getting beaten for long pass plays either and I'm sure his QB'ing the secondary has something to do with that. But back to Jenkins, this kid is really blossoming and has clearly been our best DB so far this year...and it's great he's so young.

Ken should be a coach then, because if that reads correctly, he didn't actually MAKE a play, he gave some advice to another guy so he could make the play.

Ken doesn't strike me as a playmaker himself but he's good at avoiding mistakes, other than the occasional bungled tackle.

Props to the QB of the secondary. Personally, I have been hard on him in recent weeks but he has to a major part of the reason the Cowboys haven't been beat over the top since week 2.
