Miami would go defense. They just drafted John Beck in the 2nd round, and of course they wouldnt take a RB.air0208;1661178 said:Miami wouldnt give up on Ronnie Brown this early...they need a QB a lot worse than a RB
The Jets just traded for Thomas Jones, a solid RB in his own. Hasnt showed it the first two weeks but he played some good run defenses.
Oakland i dont think would either. Lamont is having one hell of a year right now, good power runner and can catch the ball well too.
Westcoasthabsfan;1661194 said:No as long as they trade up to secure McFadden....

are you the GM for the texans?iceberg;1661200 said:so the *only* player we need, could use, or is worth our entire future is mcfadden?
yea, we're not buying the hype a bit early at all.
i'm gonna see what happens this year, how we do, and when things settle into a form of reality, i'll start digging into legit options.
till then you're chasin the wind.

Westcoasthabsfan;1661208 said:Where in my post did I say Darren McFadden was the only player that the Boys need.... Nowhere... but the bottom line is Star RB's dont come along very often and when you have a chance to grab one you do it....McFadden isnt hype he's all business and has the numbers to boot....
no he's not! you do not pass on a player like mcfaddendogunwo;1661216 said:he is actually being smart and realistic

iceberg;1661218 said:you're trading 2 #1s for him and we have no idea if that's even enough. if we even need to.
ya'll have fun in speculationville, but like i said, i'll wait till we know *for sure* more about what's up.
Westcoasthabsfan;1661228 said:Well obviously you like reading about "speculation' as you are in here posting and basically telling everyone to quit daydreaming about getting McFadden...
iceberg;1661224 said:who said i'd pass on him? why don't you scuttle on back and tell me where i said we should pass on ANYONE when my entire point is we have NO IDEA what will happen between NOW and when it actually matters.
i've said the MCFADDEN OR BUST is setting yourself up for a potential bad draft *if* mcfadden doesn't happen.
see if you can get a few scoops of comprehension on ebay.
