Kentucky v. Arkansas. McFadden looks good.

I am not saying pass on him either, but if it played out where Dallas had #9 and 28, I'd think they'd be smarter getting a blue chip corner, and then the best player at 28. Salary cap wise, those two picks might be cheaper than a top 5 anyway. There are great RBs like James Davis to be had in Round 2

He's already announced that he's leaving after this season.
He hasnt announced it. His mom accidentally did so

Kentucky has a nice little team...

They aren't going to vye for the National Championship, but they will make some noise in the SEC...

Anyone else want Houston Nutt as our coach now? :D

Houston Nutt is a nice guy, but he is a HORRIBLE coach...

He has his pick of kids from the whole state of Arkansas and parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri and Tennessee...

He has a lot of talent on his team but has no clue what to do with them...

Heck, he had the top QB prospect in Mitch Mustain last year and screwed that and the kid transferred to USC...

Now he's stuck with Casey Dick at QB... Dick sucks... can I say that here?

I have no doubt he's a nice guy and I agree he sucks as a coach.

you're trading 2 #1s for him and we have no idea if that's even enough. if we even need to.

ya'll have fun in speculationville, but like i said, i'll wait till we know *for sure* more about what's up.

Its saturday night, we're on a messageboard. God forbid we do some speculating over the most talented kid in the NCAA.

McFadden and Jones both played though a virus tonight.

Miami would go defense. They just drafted John Beck in the 2nd round, and of course they wouldnt take a RB.

Brown certainly isnt the answer at this point if he keeps playing like he has been. They have beck and the only person worth drafting that high at this point on defense is dorsey and they dont need help on the defensive line.

Their defense is good their offense is not. If anything i would say they would take a long look at long. im so punny.

The thing about Arkansas is this...

I got sideline tickets to a game 4 years ago. At half they go into the field house and everyone who has those tickets can be right there, ten feet from the players while they make adjustments. It is very bizarre...

A new coach should stop that. It's hard to make adjustments when the alumni is right on top of them...

Another thing is that they took our local stud RB (all-state) and made him a WR. I was talking to a player from the team and he said in practice they used Birmingham (our kid) as RB and he was unstoppable...

At that time it was Cedric Cobbs as RB. He said that Birmingham was a much better RB but Nutt gave in to alumni to play Cobbs as he was an Arkansas kid...

I am a HS football junkie and Decori Birmingham was one of the best I had ever seen. He and Cedric Benson were all-state covering all classifications. Birmingham was better than Benson...

Two years later they took another stud RB (all-state) from our school and made him a CB in lieu of another Arkansas based kid at RB...

Nutt needs to go... he doesn't have a clue...

thats a good point. I think we could rule out the Ted Ginn clone, DeSean Jackson too

nothing will....A RB who is has already suffered a concussion ... I remember Roger and Troy when they started getting concussion the next one came easier and faster and pretty soon guys would just run by them and their were concussed just from the air passing by :(

You didn't play much football in your youth did you? Concussions aren't rare. Hell, I had a couple in highschool.

McFadden is a stud, but why is he always in the locker room or on the sideline with little problems when the game is on the line?

6'2"...that weird offense...I think I'd just as soon let someone else have him and stick with the backs we have.

I think we're going to need a CB or WR.

Yeah I played both SS and FB...

College football players reporting a history of three or more concussions are three times more likely to be similarly injured again than players with no concussion history, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill-led study shows

http://www.unc.edu/news/archives/nov03/guskie111803.html

In one study, players with three or more concussions within seven years were three times more likely to suffer a repeat concussion than players with no concussions. And 30 percent of players with three or more concussions had symptoms lasting more than a week, compared with 7 percent of players with a first concussion
