Was Key, really moving toward the LOS, or was he still moving lateral?

It did not look like he was moving toward the LOS, to me.

Replay showed Key was goosin foward on that play when he finally turned to the LOS at the snap.

They are making that call all the time now. You see at least one / game w/ most teams.

It was a pretty close call that really could have gone either way. Yes he was moving forward.

I was watching Key in motion and saw him going toward the line before the snap. I thought, "Dang, a stupid penalty." Then I saw a flag and then Drew threw a nice pass to Key in the endzone. I couldn't celebrate because I already knew it was coming back. Doesn't Key have a couple of those this year? It is clear that this is an emphasis for the refs this year. I have seen at least one call in every NFL game I have watched.

Same thing here Joe, I saw him move forfard, saw the flag and knew exactly what the penalty was. And it sucked !

Yep, me too. He was definitely moving towards the line.

CFL move there, you definitely should have recognized it.

Yes, it is a new point of emphasis, and yes Key has at least a couple of these. That was a 4-point penalty.

Despite everything else that happened, if he doesn't commit that penalty, we only need a FG to win at the end.

In my opinion, it was a make up call for the personal foul on Sapp for roughing the passer. That was not a great call either......either way, if you cant score from the 2 yard line, it doesnt matter anyway.
