Keyshawn May Not Be Back In 2006?

There will be no need for Key if Owens is here

Bye Bye Keyshawn

why? the man produced for us, and gave us no crap

now that's out of the way, my thoughts...I wouldn't be suprised if Key is gone, doesn't mean I would like it, or understand it fully, but I wouldn't be suprised

I don't know about signing Terrell Owens, I mean he's more trouble than value to me. Could you imagine the media hype that would be created around this guy if Bledsoe has one of those 3 INT games LOL.

:starspin

well from what I see...Garcia and Mcnabb were not that much of leaders for there clubs....Owens didnt say anything when Young and Rice were there

Owens was a well liked/behaved guy until the "catch" he made against Greenbay. After that game, that's when he started becoming "T.O" the a-hole we all know.

Owens cares about no one but himself. He will help destroy the next team he goes to. I just hope it is not Dallas.

That cuz there was no one there to shut him up...It seemed like Garcia and Mcnabb were scared of him....I know that Bledsoe will nt be scared of him..He doesnt have seasons to trow away cuz of a guy that thought he was bgger than the team....Parcells and Bledsoe will keep Owens quite

wow. Key is among the best possession receivers in the league. he does all kinds of dirty work as well.

To me it is simple. if you are a knowledgeable fan -- the kinds that watches games and appreciates stuff that doesn't show up on the stat sheet, then you love Key. If you see nothing but YPC and TDs then you don't think he is so great.

Key is very much the heart and soul of our offense. Losing him would be awful.

Key is good and great for the team but If we are gonna payanother mill for Owens than Im all for that

1. Keyshawn caught over 70 passes for over 600/700 yards w/about 5/6 TDs.
2. His desire to win is second to none & he stays in to block whenever necessary.
3. In short he has been a team player & all around good guy since coming here 2 years ago.
BUT
1. He's not improving at 33/34, can't get separation, probably wants more money soon.
2. Taking playing time away from Crayton, who also a possession WR but much younger.
3. We also need draft young WR who has speed & hands to stretch the field like Glenn & can play opposite Glenn.
4. New WR will prevent us from being held hostage to WR breakdown if Key slows down any further or Glenn gets injuried.

Man we would never see a 8 amn front again with Ownes here

Glenn and Witten wouldnt get doubled as much

there would be less blitzing which equals more draw plays to jones

Bledsoe would definitly make the pro-bowl

and we would put teams away early and not worry about a late game callapse

Key isn't taking playing time away from Crayton, Crayton's just not beating him out, which is understandable

remember Parcells said a couple of times in his PCs, that Crayton can't just go into games, that he needs to constantly work in practice? well, go look back at what Parcells has had to say about KEy, that he doesn't have to practice, everything just comes to him now, and he's ever-ready

Crayton's just not ready

Even if we do get TO and I think we will. I do not see Keyshawn leaving. For a few reasons.

He has played his butt off each year here. We have no other WR that will give himself up and take a big hit over the middle just to make a catch. As great a WR as TO is he is NOT AS GOOD as Keyshawn here.

Keyshawn is one of the few players that TO might be afraid to p*** off and do by doin somethin stupid. Key will not put up with it and get in his grill real fast.

Key is not afraid to block anyone...including 300+ pound DTs.

He is a team player and you do not wanna lose one of those.

When we get to the redzone it will be real nice havin 6'4" Keyshawn to go with 6'3" TO to cause big size mismatches and make for easier TD passes for Bledsoe.

I dont see Key leavin here at all.

What I think will go down is if we get TO we will see ALOT of 3 WR sets with TO wide and Glenn and Key going back and forth at wide and slot.

I do not see Key goin anywhere and with Parcells here I dont think he will let Key go.

First of all The Ranch Report has no idea what they are talking about. I have never seen them break any story. And, it is not worth the $100!!! You can get the same info on dallascowboys.com and cowboysplus.com.

Keyshawn isn't going anywhere. After the last game, all he talked about was Parcells coming back and making it right next season.

I think this team needs Keyshawn. I know that a guy like Dan Campbell has been annointed team leader (understandably), but I think Keyshawn is every bit that same kind of leader. He really is the heart of this team in a lot of ways.

A 3 WR set in a Parcells offense? hmmm

Key = heart and soul of a team
TO = tears the heart and soul out of a team

TO will get you to the SB on Madden but not in the real world

think about it guys, Glenn is staying for sure, relatively cost-efficient, most productive WR, and still in his prime, and Crayton seems to have a future here

where's the room for TO?
