I'm convinced these places are trying to thin the herd. Or being told to do so. ahem.
Pizza Hut offers a 5 cheese pizza, with cheese stuffed crust. Seriously?
Hardees has burgers bigger than my head.
At Wendy's, you can order the triple baconator with as many pieces of bacon as you want. Want 10 pieces, you got it. 20? no problem.
Burger King's Large soda is ginormous. Their medium is a typical large.
Arby's has 3 sizes of roast beef sandwiches now. 3!
I stopped eating that crap a few weeks ago, and have never felt better.
This country is pretty hedonistic and I am definitely not above it. There is an addictive nature to fat/sugar, and these places exploit this to a tee. No one (outside of a few exceptions has tried to change this availability/culture). Some of these places ( I believe just started) now have to place calorie content next to their food items on the menu by way of legislation via the FDA. I think that may guilt some away from their initial choice, but not many. We know what we are getting into as soon as we set foot into one of these places. We are on "****" mode
