Ryan was playing with half the defense signed off the street every week and was shown the door................................funny how he didnt get the Garrett/Kiffen not enough talent excuse.

I'm sick of the excuses, especially as you say ones they didn't accept from Ryan. Ryan wasn't the problem which is why Payton took him, cause Payton is very familiar with the problem here.

But we do have to give Kiffin some credit though, its not like its easy for a team to switch to the 4-3 in one year and expect to dominate. Sure we have been giving up historic performances to QBs, but it does take time to adjust to the 4-3 from the 3-4. Problem is, Jerry needed something to sell us on to take our mind off of Romo.

That game was winnable yesterday. I think we did fall down on the clock management side of things and it, once again, cost us. Until the lesson is learned, we will continue to lose games like this.

BUT GARRETT NEVER LEARNS!!!!

That is the whole point alot of us are making. He sucked at game management from day 1 and almost 4 seasons into his head coaching tenure he has not improved one bit. We are still blowing games because the head coach has no idea of how to manage situational football. If he has not learned in almost 4 seasons as head coach, when the hell is he ever going to learn?

When a 10 yr old playing Madden can milk the clock better than an NFL head coach....................there is a serious problem.

You know, the Pats have lost 2 starters on D, Mayo and Wilfork, 2 of their best players on D. Still winning.

Lost Talib, in the running for defensive MVP at this point. Still winning.

Its well known how much trouble they have had at their receivers and Vareen, and word is Brady is hurt also. Still winning.

You gotta overcome injuries, its part of the game, don't make excuses cause of them. But week after week we hear excuses from Jerry and company, and we start to accept them. They shouldn't be accepted.

I agree but unless you can find a way to sign Belichick, I don't think it matters. Also, keep in mind, New England was terrible last year Defensively. All those guys that are playing now were the guys who played terribly last year.

A lot of you are making the point that I tried to make when Garrett was hired. I never thought he was ready then and I still think he may not be the guy but firing the DC now or the HC now is not the answer. As I said earlier and am now repeating, you evaluate the season at the end of the season and you make decisions based on that. However, you understand that the GM is the only constant over all these years and that's not going to change, regardless of how many coaches you fire.
