Anyone have the feeling that Kelly might do a Sabin and pack up his marbles and go back to the College ranks?
Not yet but in the next 1-3 years
Lets see...no QB....No RB now...Maclin will probably leave and leave them with no WR....
Everyone is worried about them going all in on their Defense but here is the thing I'd wonder about.
Kelly loves that up tempo, gas pedal to the floor, offense that doesn't allow his defense any rest.
Now they're going to likely get even less rest because he's going to have zilch on offense to work with.
So, yeah, for a couple of quarters his defense will look very impressive if they improve it but they're going to gas, just like they did last year, in the second half of games because they're going to spend the majority of the game on the field.
I could be wrong. It might work out great for them but put me firmly in the camp that doesn't see all this as the greatest decisions being made by Kelly or the Eagles.
Which is good as far as I'm concerned because if they gas their own defense and get beaten routinely because of it I'm all for it.
While I think Kelly will ultimately regret this move, he has to have a plan at RB. Sproles was a huge weapon, maybe he wants to add a CJ Spiller who should be cheaper, I don't know.
Yes. When he is done stealing money from Jeffrey Lurie.Anyone have the feeling that Kelly might do a Sabin and pack up his marbles and go back to the College ranks?
Ha Ha, listening to Philly sports radio. Callers are hilarious.
Guy calling in says Chip Kelly is an arrogant New Englander more interested in social engineering than having talent on the team. His proof, Andy Reid the conservative Mormon could get along with these guys but Chip cant.
Reid is Mormon?
Reid is Mormon?
2) Andy Reid
Speaking about his conversion to the LDS Church during his football-playing days at BYU he said, “I went there for a great education and to play football,” Reid said, adding that as he learned more about the church he decided he “liked the lifestyle. I liked the gospel part of it; I liked the family part of it.”
