Kiko Alonso traded for Shady McCoy

I'm just glad McCoy is out of the division, even better he is out of the conference.

I cut mccoy from my fantasy after the horrible season he had :D

I cut you from my fantasy fan team for putting yourself into the position where you routed for an Eagles running back to score touchdowns.

Holy crap. And it's not like they don't have a backup... they still have Darren Sproles. If they cash in on free agency and the draft that team is gonna be scary.

Yes yes, every year the Eagles are scary. I won't hold my breath.
Alonso is coming off a second acl and they still have no QB.

McCoy sucked last year and it wasn't all on the offensive line. I think Philthy got the better end of that deal,,, big time.

I'm going to go with no on this. The guy had over 1300 yards, 4.2 ypg. He didn't suck. I think most teams will take that kind of suck every year.

OL Chip Kelley has made some pretty savy moves....first pulling off the Sproles trade then moved Deshawn Jackson out and now the McCoy trade...and a whole lot of cash to spend.. This team could get dangerous...quickly

Murray would fit well there. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to move up if Mariota slips to 3.

Kelly is a nut job obsessed with his own former college players, I can't wait until he trades the world for Mariota. They are going to flop

He really is. I've never bought into his crap at Oregon and not buying it in the NFL. I also don't think Kelly is going to be in the NFL or Philly in a few years. Maybe even 1 more season. The guy almost left after this season. He doesn't seem like a coach who likes stability whether it's him or his players.

I'm listening online to WIP and the guy said this will help them more on trading for Mariotta.

I can see how this trade could work for the Eagles but it's certainly a risk.

I'd love for them to go after Murray, but they won't. If they wanted to over pay an older RB they'd have just kept McCoy.

I get your line of thinking here. I was ready to talk about them going after Murray but I'm late to the party and you're probably right. Still though, I would not rule it out. What an even more interesting match-up that would be if they did sign him. If you're Chip you have to think Demarco would have huge games against us, out of spite for not paying him what the Eagles would. It could be the difference between winning the division and not.
