Kinda feel sorry for Norv losing to fatboy...

I'm shocked, but looks like Bill Simmons actually called this one perfectly:

Chargers can pass, can't run, and don't stop the run
Jets can stop the pass, can't stop the run, and can run very, very well

man my chargers played beyond stupid today

typical of my chokers in the playoffs vs afc east teams

i really believe the colts just won the sb today, ******

as long as it ain't brees winning it i'll be ok , if brees wins it all....man

armageddon lol
That was a shocking upset. I never would have believed the jets could win even with that incredible defense. Pretty sad really.

Good point about Kaeding 'Woods'.....the guy looked just as scared today as Suisham did. His body language was similar to Shaun's, and as I recall he's done this in the playoffs before: in his rookie year I believe and they stuck with him thinking it was rookie yips: wrong. He just chokes, especially considering he's an "all pro" kicker. What a joke. I feel for Norv and the Bolts because they know how to beat the Colts and have proven it, but their scrawny, worthless kicker just gagged today against an inferior team. Sucks to be them tonight for sure.....

Kaeding cost the Chargers twice vs the Jets in the playoffs. He cannot handle the pressure. I feel sorry for Rivers, Novrv and the Chargers, but they deserved to lose with all the mistakes they made.

Kudos to Ryan for talking up the team and making them believe in themselves. He is a true leader as a head coach. Watch out for the Jets if they can get a WR who can catch (a la Marshall).

and a loud mouth like Ryan. Sorry to say, but it seemed like the Jets were just a little better prepared and ready to play. San Diego has seen this before, but.....man that was a tough loss. The Chargers were better IMO, but they hadn't lost in about two months and just didn't play well. Should be interesting to see how loudmouth/attention ***** Ryan does against the Colts the second time around. My educated guess is the Jets get rolled by twenty minimum, unless Manning gets hurt.....
Reminds me a little of the 07 Giants. Dallas has a bye, at home, BAM.

i could believe it, my team is cursed lol

i'm actually alot more proud of how my D played today than my O

my D had literally one bad play all game vs the run (well that and that final 4th down run they gave up)

honestly the D did their damn job, just like in the cowboys game, only allowing 17

the O on the other hand, choked

too many drops, too many flags, too many missed fgs

typical us, man, typical us

sure

but i'll say one thing, wouldn't it be a perfect swap if we lose rivera, you guys get norv as OC and we get wade as DC

but then the problem would be replacing the HC lol

but yeah i'd keep norv and hang this loss on the kicker more than norv

oh and also.....i really can't blame norv for the lack of the run game, our owner is a sentimental sap who has kept LT around too far past his expiration date

the GM wanted to get rid of LT last offseason and the owner **** blocked him like he did the first time the GM tried to fire marty

in other words, our owner is a tad ********

you guys really should have won that game, imo.

the kicker basically did you in. there's no way to have predicted he would have missed 3 fgs in one game, given his pedigree.

What is this pedigree that you speak of?

If San Diego breeds kickers, can you get them to pass one our way?

:laugh1:

Funny thing is that we had quite a few members saying how we made a mistake not hiring Norv...

He lost at home to a team that has no offense...

Hmmm...a meddling owner that keeps players past their prime on an underachieving team...

Congrats! The Chargers are the Dallas Cowboys of the late 1990's.

yhea, they breed them like german sheppards :laugh2:

DEATH to kickers.....little turds. Just so sick of those little SOB's and their mental break downs....as I and many others have said over the years, just get rid of the goal posts and kickers altogether. Game would be INFINITELY BETTER IMHO....

I wanted that fat boy as our coach. Better than the fat boy we have now.:D

you know how furious this board would be if Norv was our HC and we lost the way the Chargers lost today. Norv single handily blew that game by going for that onside kick at the end of the game. I could not believe how dumb of a coaching decision he made. Knowing this board and arguably rightfully so, we would not hear the end of how dumb Norv Turner is. The GROT bandwagon would be in full force. I am still in shock he went for that onside kick, that was one of the bigger coaching blunders I have seen recently.

Like I said before...December is over and Rivers is just a December guy......he just can't win in January.

Well i believe Turner might be fired and that would open the door for him to come to Dallas as OC.

Say what you want but I'd give everything just to have "fat boy" as our HC.
