I did not miss him, not one bit. Honestly he did not cross my mind all game and just until now I forgot he was on the team. Wilcox can not cover or tackle to save his life granted he does have like 3 or 4 big hits recently.

I can see a scenario similar to Larry Brown with Wilcox.

Cowboys get to the SB and the opposing QB throws 2 interceptions directly to Wilcox. On both picks their was not a WR within 10 yards of the pass. Wilcox is named MVP and he signs a 5 year 40 million dollar contract with the Washington Commanders where he gets exposed, something we already knew.

I will take that scenario as anyone of us. Wilcox would take that scenario, he gets a big contract and we get another trophy.
You haven't noticed he's played well this year if you didn't miss him. Warts and all, receivers have taken notice when going over the middle.

We would have got stomped if there was a better offense in this game. Only player I missed was Mo. Mo and Lee make this defense tick, the rest are expendable.
And teams with a better offense in this league have no where near the defense that the Vikings have

Go ahead and say that when we are facing him in the post-season...

I will say that.
I think the Cowboys are not as good as the Seahawks. I also don't think the Seahawks have as good of a defense as the Vikings. The Seahawks are a far better team than the Vikings though.

We need everyone in the secondary healthy when the playoffs start....Carr, Mo, Scandrick, Brown, Church, Jones, and Wilcox. That was a pretty thin crew to begin with, keeping only 4 CBs on the roster. Come playoffs, I don't want to see McFadden or Heath or Frazier on the field unless it's special teams.

That Seattle offense has stunk it up this year other than one short stretch. Russell is the man, but they are struggling to sustain drives....that's our D's wheel house....lol

I noticed his big hits the last couple game, especially against the Steelers, but once that ball is in the air he is clueless. I love the hits but not his overall coverage.

Says a lot about our secondary, when you miss Wilcox. We REALLY need to upgrade this unit; adding some speedy DEs as well. Keep Brown, Jones and maybe Claiborne, flush the rest.

We have played some of the best offenses in the league this year and still waiting to get stomped like you say.

What were these best offenses? Steelers and Commanders?

Yeah, both had 500 yards on us. They don't have the defense of the Vikings. Yet again, we will be facing a team like the Seahawks in playoffs that will most likely be far more healthy than they are now and even their D is starting to get reinforcements.

I think Anthony Brown is coming along real well.

The only complaint i have with Brown is not getting his head turned to possibly intercept the pass.

Having said that...last night he perfectly timed a pass breakup without turning around and just based his timing on the receiver's eyes anticipation.it was like he has eyes in the back of his head.

He has been tremendous thus far...He also tackles very well too.

They didn't have "Beast mode" last year and Wilson had his best year. Not sure why you guys continue to bring this up. Seattle seems to always have a couple hiccup games before getting hot in the end. Their issues right now is Wilson not being 100%, but he's getting there. They also have a rookie RB coming along and becoming a good receiver for them.

I do not want to face a playoff experienced team in the divisional or championship round if we sputter like we did against the Vikings. That's not good, we have do better. I think we all can agree on that. 17 points is not enough to win games normally if you have a shoddy defense.

The Vikings defense is better than Seattle, and they matched up better against us. The Vikings were also at home, and desperate.

Seattle is good. I'd say the #2 team in the league. Great defense and a really efficient QB that doesn't turn the ball over is a hard matchup for any team. But they are definitely beatable.

Yeah, it was preseason, but our OL destroyed their starters in the ground game. I think Wagner is still in flight from Collins. This is still a lot of the same names and faces from 2014, where we were more physical than them too, and our OL has gotten much better.

They have Wilson and a TE on offense. That TE is good, but he's no Reed. That's it. Their OL isn't that good, and their receivers stink. If Mo is back for that game, they're going to have trouble getting their receivers open.

It's also looking like we'll get them at home as opposed to in Seattle, which is huge. They aren't the same team on the road.

We'd score more than 17 points.

Guess what . .....there wasn't . AND BEFORE you feebly attempt with the playoff shtick . .......we've heard that already . If the Pittsburg game, the Ravens game, the Philliy game doesn't scream this team DOES NOT QUIT regardless of the circumstances......

The Vikings brought the house consistently, Dakota looked lost on occasion, play calling was suspect and Dak, Ezee Brown, all of which are ROOKIES playing key positions, STILL managed a W.

MO missed you too....not really cause you missing him doesn't help.

Best game for this team thus far. Showed grit, hands down.

Seattle offense isn't great. Their OL is maybe worst then the Vikings and Seattle has no run game......besides Seattle isn't even on the schedule.

There isn't a team that has a Vikings defense with a Commanders or steelers offense. Dallas is the most complete

Seattle offensive line isn't great, but it hasn't been great for a couple years. The biggest issue for them right now is the lack of mobility from Wilson due to injury along with some injury on defense. But their secondary is healthy and they are now welcoming back Bennett.

The way Seattle has played early in the season is not much different than how they've played early the past two years. They are a December and January team. As for our team being "complete" - Having 0 pass rush and players in and out of the secondary is not a "complete" team. It's an offensive powerhouse with a questionable D.

And we would have blown them out with a better defense, and I'd be rich with more money.

For what?

Try to grasp the point. If this is how our offense will perform come playoff time against a good/great defense, we won't be seeing a Super Bowl.
