So you're saying we won't need a QB. You're coming around.Seems pretty good for the Cowboys.

What's hardest to defend is his complete lack of regard for the role of a 1 tech. I can't wrap my brain around how a guy with his resume in the game could dismiss the impact of those type of players.
We say this every year.these 25 will be off the board for us.....at 32!!!
COWBOYS
A lot of Defensive Tackles on that list.
Bolds well for Dallas but I have a feeling that the FO will pass.
and this year...we'll be correct. We say this every year.
Maybe you are in the wrong forum...Just think how dumb the idea of even thinking about who is going to be available in the next years draft when training camp for this years draftees hasn't even started yet. If you're going to start fussing over who going to be available in the 2019 draft why not start fussing over who will be in the 2020 or 2021 drafts too. Why not start looking at high school players that will be available in the 2023 and 2024 draft while you're at it. Do you really think teams are putting their 2019 draft boards together now?

Rashaan Gary and Dexter Lawrence are better prospects than Vita VeaIf we're awful this year (which I don't think we will be), then we could add a game-changing 3Tech (Ed Oliver) or a powerful 5Tech (Rashan Gary).
So far, I'm not seeing a Vita Vea-caliber 2019 draft prospect.

Scouting departments already have started their 2019 boards and have files on 2020 and 2021 prospects. I know someone who works for a team who starts the player database with top 100 high school recruits.
Also, this is a draft forum and for many fans, the draft is a year round conversation. If you don't want to hear about the draft this far out, simply choose not to read the threads in this forum.
I agree that Gary and Lawrence (and Oliver) are all better prospects than Vea.Rashaan Gary and Dexter Lawrence are better prospects than Vita Vea
that's what they said last year.and this year...we'll be correct.
but this ain't last yearthat's what they said last year.
NFL scouting is a 24/7/365 job. Information on 2020 and 2021 also being worked.Do you really think teams are putting their 2019 draft boards together now?
Especially when the best teams he coached had some of the best 1 Techs in the game. What's hardest to defend is his complete lack of regard for the role of a 1 tech. I can't wrap my brain around how a guy with his resume in the game could dismiss the impact of those type of players.
