I still say if I were the Rams GM, I would draft Suh in the 1st and Colt McCoy at the top of the 2nd. I think the gap between McCoy and Bradford is small. The gap between Suh and 2nd round DTs is a mile. Make the trade with Washington and get Campbell and Rocky McIntosh in the deal. Hell, ask for Haynesworth. Him next to Suh would be hard to beat.

Great ideas.. Thats what i have been thinking also. Get Suh because he is light years ahead of any defensive lineman you could get at the top of round 2.
After watching these two QB's in college, how big of a difference is there in McCoy and Bradford? Not enough to justify Bradford going number 1 overall

If i were the Rams i would definelty trade out of the 1st pick, they have holes everywhere, i would trade down multiple times and stock alot of picks.

I would try desperately to trade for more picks.

If that didn't work, I'd do as you suggested . . . take the DT that best fit my scheme and take a QB at the top of the 2nd.

But . . . I don't run the Rams.

I'm biased, but I think Bradford is going to be an awesome NFL QB. He is highly intelligent, very accurate and has great football I.Q. He reminds me of a Peyton Manning type. Take Bradford and don't sweat it.

I agree with Hos most of the time, but while there is probably a mile between the talent level of SUH and a second round DT, don't be so sure there's not that much distance between Bradford and the rest of the QB pack.

Prevailing logic is that the Lions want Suh and the Bucs want McCoy. Since they drafted a LT last year, they'd probably have to console themselves with someone like Berry.
