Really Dion Jordan is a bust after 1 year? So a draft pick has to be a pro bowl level player the second his career begins for you to accept him? Hate to break it to you, but you're expectations are wildly unrealistic. And Barr isn't even worth a 7th round pick? You can say you think he's overrated all you want, but how can you expect someone to have a serious conversation with you saying stuff like that?

Let me rephrase my statement for you. I would not take him either day 1 or day 2. I don't know him well enough to take him off my board. He would be worthy of a late round pick. I will allow you to correct me. And this is just my opinion in regard to this player. Would so much rather take any other 1st 2 day player than him. As of now Lewan and Donald still stand out while all the QBs don't rate near the top half of round 1, and Sammy Watkins is the BPA for the Texans who hold the 1st overall pick.

This player is not a 1st day pick. I do not want him on my team. This player is not a 2nd day pick.

Here is the potential to be untapped - not many guys can make these plays:

The risk on this pick is high but I'll put him in my first tier of guys to take in the 1st round. If Donald is there I'd take Donald. If Lewan is there I'd take Lewan. If Evans is there I'd take Evans. Then Barr if he is there. Then Bridgewater if he is there. I think I'd try to trade down if none of those guys are there (along with all the usual Top 10 prospects including Manziel) I'd try to trade down. In that order. For now.

1st tape: Looks like Barr beat a WR that for some reason took a step towards the center of the field and he went around him.
2nd tape: He beat a freshman LT who weighs in at a very light 275 at 6-7 he put a spin move on him the the inside that will not be there at the next level.

Much better that Dallas trade down if this is the choice. I like that Nevada tackle in the 2nd round Joel Bitonio, who btw blew away Barr all day during their matchup.

It's taken me days and hours of research on Barr to reach this point. That said I still think there is a lot of risk in this player, and I have resolved that his first season won't show much but that with a good strength and conditioning program (ie. steroids) AND Marinelli coaching/grooming he could turn into something - and that could be special. Normally that's enough to throw a guy out of the first round, but his measurables are Ware-like freaky.

I am right there with you on Bitonio.

Brian Baldinger admitted to being blown away by UCLA edge rusher Anthony Barr's fluidity.
"For playing OLB for two years, when I watch him I am blown away by just how fluid he moves and how smooth he is," Baldinger began. He went on to compare Barr to former Pro Bowler Willie Thomas, albeit "bigger, but even faster and more athletic, but you never see him on the ground." Obviously Baldinger is impressed at Barr's progression despite only playing the position for two years. We are not, specifically regarding Barr's hand use and inability to succeed after his initial line is stopped. Apr 11 - 11:43 AM
