It’s not just that. A owner casting doubt on the Professional Football Hall of Fame is a disgrace. Kraft should be ashamed of himself. His attitude undermines every selection. For that alone he should not be inducted.
... I didnt hear anything about that. Nonetheless, sounds like he wrote himself off.

Money means more than championships. That is clearly the standard for the HoF. Kraft as owner has twice as many Lombardi's as Jerry. He definitely should be in for that.
^ This.

Robert Kraft situation pretty much debunks any argument that Jerry Jones' efforts as general manager were the primary reasoning for his enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Jones' complete HOF biography can be read at this link but there are two passages in it worth noting:

  1. "His leadership in areas of sports marketing and promotion not only have impacted the Cowboys profoundly, but it also has influenced the landscape of the entire National Football League and America’s sports culture." This is a clear acknowledgement of Jones' enormous contribution to the league in general--primarily financial and profitability.
  2. "The commitment to winning has continued, as the Cowboys advanced to the postseason in 2016, 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2023, giving the team 18 postseason appearances in the Jones era." In retrospect, Kraft's New England Patriots far exceeded a third-party assessment concerning 'commitment to winning'. Kraft remains on the outside of the Hall looking in, despite this assigned measure for induction.
Kraft is completely justified in his selfish desire IF the Board of Selectors use an argument suggesting, what his teams have accomplishment on the field, is not good enough to have him enter the Hall.

Kraft is a scumbag. Jerry is no better. The only owner who belongs in the HOF might be Al Davis.

Without Brady he doesn't have all those rings. They did nothing after Brady left and look who he hired as their head coach now. No he doesn't belong in the Hall of fame.

Jerry is not simply in the HOF for winning super bowls. He's in for helping shape the league into the behemoth success that it is today. Without Jerry the NFL likely is not even close to it's current popularity. I get Kraft is Jealous but what Jerry did was sacrifice his chances at winning so the league could be grow exponentially year after year.

Sacrifice? Jerry stopped going after championships in order to get wealthy. You think he really cares about the rest of the NFL? I highly doubt he does.

I think he does. I think Jerry cared about growing the NFL and his business/brand more than winning thus why he sacrificed the opportunity to keep winning. He went for the money.

The point is you can’t whine your way into the Hall of Fame. I don’t hear the owners of the Rams, 49ers, and Eagles taking issue with Jerry Jones being in the HoF.

Jerry has done so much for this league. He gets lambasted as a GM and deserves it but as an owner and what he's done for the NFL there aren't many that are on his level.
This,,, Kraft is just an owner who's team won a bunch of championships. I'm not aware of any significant contributions he's personally made to the league except revealing to the fans the joys of scented lotions,,,

I think many are confusing things here, there’s no doubt that Kraft has has tremendous success but a huge equation of that success is being beyond fortunate to drafting Tom Brady- who btw went somewhere else and won without the pats organization. Now, that does not diminish Kraft at all, he deserves praise but he’s wrong if he feels his impact on the entire brand of football is close to Jerry’s.

Jerry is an *** and he’s responsible for the last 30 years of failure but he has changed so many things on the business side of the nfl and also won. Jerry is 100% deserving of being in the hof and one day Kraft will get in- but for Kraft to diminish Jerry’s impact based on our last 30 years is pretty rich….lets see how post Brady era goes for him.

Outside of 6 superbowls, I'm not well versed on what he accomplished for the league as a whole.
