Today when I was down at Mama Kim's Massage Parlor and sushi bar we talked about Kraft's jealousy and his dilemma about wanting into the Pro Football HOF. She said she knew Kraft and he was a pig and smelled bad.

All you need to do is look at the NFL revenue before and after Jerry Jones. Jerry Jones forced NFL teams to market their teams and not just depend on revenue sharing. Jerry played a big part and bringing the NFL to a whole different level. People forget, the guy is a brilliant businessman and a marketing genius. We all know his NFL IQ is questionable, but there’s a reason the Cowboys are the world’s richest franchise.

The only owners that really deserve to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame are the pioneers that created the league and doubled as highly successful coaches.

What do media committees and union negotiations have to do with the actual game of football?

The Hall of Fame should be restricted to those that influence what happens during the game on the field. It is the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It is not the Pro Football Financial Success Hall of Fame.

Now owners want to be enshrined because they were the guy that uttered the words, "you are hired."

Kraft does not belong in the Hall of Fame because two wrongs don't equal a right. Jerry Jones never belonged there either.

In fact, I consider his induction to be a diabolical plan by other owners to encourage Jerry to become more involved with football operations. The more he is involved, the more other owners have an advantage.

That's because they actually hired proven experts to perform the duties that relate to the team and their performance on the field.

You are taking an extraordinarily narrow view. The Hall of Fame is for contributions to the league, not only the play on the field. But for the insight and commitment from owners there would not be an NFL. And team owners have guided the league to what it is today.

I can't believe Jerry is in the HOF. For what?
For the Jimmy drafted & Jimmy built three time SB champs. Outside of the dynasty Jimmy built, I cant think of one reason why Jerry belongs in the HOF.

Kraft is not getting in. Don't get services from trafficked women. JJ may have stepped out of his marriage but he never engaged with trafficked women.

Trying to decide if Billionaire wars or clipping my toenails are a better use of attention and angst. I think I’ll focus on my talons.

Money means more than championships. That is clearly the standard for the HoF. Kraft as owner has twice as many Lombardi's as Jerry. He definitely should be in for that.
I'm not sure why fans have a hard time understanding that money is the most Important part of the NFL. Jerry has donee so mich for the NFL money wise (plus 3 super bowls) that he was an obvious yes to the HOF. But yes I do agree that Kraft 100% deserves to be in the HOF as well and he deserves it for having the most Championships. He was the guy signing the checks. Without that none of those championships happen.

I mean, I think they both belong in the HOF.

They're probably the two single most important active NFL owners today that have experienced a tremendous amount of success in the league.

Kraft will get his day in the sun.

LOL, Kraft is stupid. Yeah his team/organization has 6 championships, so I agree he should be or I wouldn't oppose him being in the HOF, but acting an *** because he's not in and Jerry is. Sit his little *** down and think for even a half second and he will realize that Jerry is in the HOF for reasons other than the 3 championships, he's in for all the things that he has done for and helped the NFL move forward since he has owned the Cowboys!!! Kraft and any other owner should be thanking Jerry for all the money they make now. Jerry advocated and helped the owners and their franchises to keep the revenue that they make at their stadiums no longer having to share with the whole league pre Jerry, he helped them have their own individual sponsors, the whole league owes Jerry for the league becoming so widely popular. Yeah, Jerry more than deserves to be in the HOF.

Last I checked it's what you've done for the leauge not your own franchise. Jerry helped the leauge grow at a crazy rate. Krafts teams have some sketchy and shady dealings that they were caught for. I've heard people debate if it was Bill or Brady who won them the championships, never heard anyone mention Kraft. Bad timing with the Aaron Hernandez show starting up.

I'm sorry, but what, exactly, has Robert Kraft done FOR THE GAME? Hired BB? That's about it.

He changed the business of the NFL. Many firsts that he did with the Cowboys starting with that 90’s Team. And was a team player with owners and spear-headed a lot of the league’s expansion and new moves. As an Owner, Marketing Director or President of Operations he definitely deserves it.

As a GM though, yeah, should have been fired decades ago. Didn't get better until Stephen, McClay, Parcells and others took over.

IMO, no owner should be in the Hall Of Fame, with any exception going to those who founded the league. Making money and "growing the game" are not great reasons for enshrining an owner.

But, being that they are, Kraft should be in as much as Jones or any other owner.
I disagree. Jerry when he became owner of the Dallas Cowboys resurrected the team as it was in a financial death spiral. He concretely helped open doors for the smaller market teams to flourish by demonstrating ways to generate more revenue in order to continue competing in the league. The NFL as a whole benefited as well. Jerry is also one of the few owners who played football albeit at the college level. However the league wouldn't exist without the college draft.
