Uh, no. That does not at all describe what happened in Seattle. Richard was coaching the DBs in Pete Carrols defense. Pete picked all the players and basically told him what to run. When the legion of boom disbanded, he looked just as bad as he does now. Seattle has rebuilt its defense without him and not missed a beat. If our defense wasn't so bad this year, you would have a point.
