The glare 'bout to blinded me... LOL...
LatinMind;1415493 said:lol, i got no idea. well 1 thing could be that fresno is in the valley. alot of fog, hot as hell during the summer, but alot of clouds and alot of fog when its not summer.
abersonc;1415530 said:So you seem to know everything about Fresno, except that it isn't an academic powerhouse. Strange.
Thehoofbite;1415534 said:and yet another fresno guy being promoted by latin........
LatinMind;1415543 said:lol how can u not promote the best center in the country? u even liked the idea of this guy. and paul williams. ok
LatinMind;1415539 said:i didnt say they were a acedmic powerhouse. u said all that. i was pointing out to u that fresnos athletes are put on strict acedemic guidelines. as opposed to athletes in ohio state . where in ohio state the players cant even read, but are paid to play on the team. dont know much about michigan havent heard anything.
ur the one who went into that other stuff. i was talking about athletes
nd u made yourself look stupid as u were trying to argue a case iwasnt even bringing up. ohio state athletes dont even graduate. fresno states football? 75 % have a 3.5 GPA. and the graduation rate is close to 70%. which is pretty high for student athletes

reported from the Fresno Bee (fresno newspaper)
kyle young
has bulked up 23 lbs probably knowing he's probably being viewed more as a guard. so his official weight at the proday?
6'5 353 lbs wow, thats some serious size
bench pressed 225 33 times
ran the 40 in 5.35 typical OL, especially for guards, does a 40 matter? lol
was being looked by over 30 nfl scouts
quote from jets scout
"Most NFL centers are about 6-2, big and strong enough to fight off defensive tackles but also with a low-enough center of gravity so defensive linemen don't have leverage to raise them off the ground, New York Jets scout Joe Bommarito said."

Thehoofbite;1415545 said:I liked the idea of this guy? I know Im a little sauced right now but I can't remember even promoting this guy at all. Paul Williams though, he seems like a viable pick, id to late 1st day.
Billy Bullocks;1415586 said:Fresno State is not a hard school to get in. There have been some talks for Pac-10 expansion, adding Boise and Fresno State and forming a Norht and South division in the conference. It was only a thought because both schools did not meet academic standards. Believe me, as strict as Hill is, Fresno is not a tought place to be academically.

Seriuosly- if he is a good guy otherwise grabbing him late in the second might be a good thing. He can be our backup Center and a backup guard as well. I would have him take off the extra weight, though. 330 is big enoug for any position. Like the thought of having the backup center be even bigger then the starting center- and he might in a year or so beat out kosier. Or maybe even Gurode. Beginning to think this guy should be a target.
